Chapter 412: Chapter 411: This was exposed too quickly (Edited).

"You're up a little late today, dear."

The next morning, Hermione came to the table yawning and Mrs. Granger handed her breakfast as she teased, "It looks like... you didn't sleep well last night... Is it possible that Fish came back to your room?".

"No, he didn't!"

Hermione's face flushed and she lowered her head towards her plate of food.

"Then why are you shy?"

Mrs. Granger, who had only been teasing her daughter, instantly noticed something strange about Hermione.

If nothing had happened last night, her haughty daughter wouldn't look like this.

"Who's that, who's shy!"

Hermione raised her head and looked at her mother, but her flushed face and wandering eyes had fully exposed her guilty conscience.

"Is that so?"

Mrs. Granger raised an eyebrow, no longer provoking her daughter, but planning to wait for Fish to come down and find out the truth from Fish...worst case scenario, she'd go to the clinic later and make her husband work harder.

That's what she thought and that's what she did. After breakfast, Mrs. Granger didn't get up from the table, but gave Mr. Granger a wink.

Mr. Granger sighed helplessly and went to work alone.

In fact...

He was also curious about what had happened last night.

Nor did Professor McGonagall get up from the table, who, after finishing her breakfast, snapped her finger and her and Mrs. Granger's crockery flew to the sink, where the tap turned on automatically and the rags hanging over the side flew out to clean them....

"Magic is so convenient."

Mrs. Granger sighed.

Professor McGonagall gently shook her head and said, "There are many Muggle inventions that are also very useful, and although there are special Muggle Studies classes at Hogwarts, we still know very little about you."

She also sighed heartily at the fact that Muggles have changed so much that, had she not been a guest in the Granger household, she would still be like most wizards, whose knowledge of Muggles is still decades old.

The two mothers then chatted animatedly about Muggles and wizards.

Hermione, who was eating, rolled her eyes. As smart as she is, how could she not guess Mrs. Granger and Professor McGonagall's plan, but she had warned Fish last night that there was no way he could blurt out what happened last night... probably....

Hermione felt uncomfortable again at the thought of Fish's then strict and sometimes not so strict mouth.

"Good morning nya!"

(?ΦωΦ?)?

Just when Hermione was nervous, a bright Fish appeared in front of the group, staying up late was nothing but normal for him.

"Good morning, Fish." Mrs. Granger smiled and greeted the cat, "Come and have breakfast, Auntie has prepared fish and chips especially for you."

"Tsk..."

Fish secretly pursed his mouth, he really wanted to eat the meat scones and seafood porridge prepared by Comey.

But the fish was quite good, and Fish, who was not a picky eater, trotted over to the table and sat down next to Hermione.

Professor McGonagall looked at the cat with surprise, as Fish had always liked to sit near her.

Although somewhat puzzled, Professor McGonagall was even more certain that something had happened between the two young people the night before.

"Did you sleep well last night, Fish?" Mrs. Granger was the first to ask, "Did you have a hard time sleeping in a strange place?"

"No nya," Fish replied vaguely as he bit into the fish fry, "Fish can sleep well anywhere nya."

(?Φ~Φ?)

"And is there anything you don't like about the room?"

"Not really nya," the cat shook his head, "The room smells like Hermione, and Fish likes it."

Though she'd heard Fish say it once before, a blush inevitably reappeared on Hermione's cheeks, and she lowered her head, drinking cereal to cover her shy, happy face.

Mrs. Granger raised an eyebrow and gave her daughter a nod of approval.

"Well, that's because your room, which used to be Hermione's, was prepared for you when we knew you were coming."

"Is that so nya?" Fish scratched his head and replied seriously, "Then the next time Hermione comes to our house, Fish will let her use my room."

(●?ω?●)?

"Ahem..."

Professor McGonagall cleared her throat, reminding Mrs. Granger not to let herself be distracted by a certain kitten.

"Then Hermione will be very pleased," Mrs. Granger looked at her daughter, who had her head sunk into the bowl of cereal, and after a moment's thought, smiled, "But I suppose... I'd rather you did the same as last night and ran off to sleep with her like the other night."

"Nya?"

?ω?

Fish cocked his head to the side, confused, "I thought we couldn't go into other people's rooms. Fish misunderstood what someone's room meant the night before and went in there... Didn't Fish already say that yesterday nya?".

Mrs. Granger shrugged helplessly at Professor McGonagall, she didn't know what to do, Fish's response was impeccable.

Hermione, who had finally pulled her face out of the cereal bowl, curved her lips in triumph, she had made a point of reminding Fish the night before....

If Professor McGonagall found out he'd snuck out to watch TV at night, she'd probably forbid him to see her again.

Such a warning would have been more effective than anything else, and Fish would never have allowed that to happen.

Hermione had forgotten, however, that there was someone else who knew more than she did about a certain cat.

"Fish...," Professor McGonagall said slowly, with a stern face and a critical glance at the cat, "Could it be that you... sneaked off to watch television last night?"

∑(?ΦДΦ?)

Fish's mind froze when he was caught red-handed, but the cat had been in the battle for a long time, so he didn't show it at all, instead he acted as if he had been wronged and yelled at Professor McGonagall, "Fish did go for a walk last night, but he didn't watch TV!"

(? `ω′?)?

The kitten puffed out his cheeks and muttered in a very annoyed tone, "The telly was so loud I'd wake you up if I turned it on nya...".

It has to be said that Fish's acting skills are getting better and better, and if Hermione hadn't been acting a bit strange, Professor McGonagall thought she would have been completely fooled by him, but it's a shame....

A certain young lady is not as mentally strong as the cat.

So when Professor McGonagall mentioned about watching TV at night, Hermione looked at Fish with a nervous expression, and both Professor McGonagall and Mrs. Granger managed to catch her.

In the end, before Professor McGonagall could speak, Mrs. Granger asked first, she knew more about what would be broadcast on TV that late at night....

"Hermione! Did you watch an adult program with Fish last night?!"

"We didn't watch an adult show nya! Hermione said we couldn't watch that! Yesterday we just watched a little bit of Antony and Cleopatra making out, and a bunch of people fighting with swords and spears."

?(? `ω′?)?

Fish had already been told by Hermione the night before about the "adult programs," so when he heard Mrs. Granger's questioning and saw Hermione's expression, he knew the story was out in the open, so Fish confessed immediately and with a straight face.

If he hadn't been caught, he would have kept his mouth shut, but if he had been caught, he would have confessed to mitigate the punishment....

This is what Fish had learned over the years.

Hermione, who was planning to object: "..."

Professor McGonagall wasn't interested in pursuing the cat's lies at this point...she'd gotten used to it.

She looked at Mrs. Granger with a confused look on her face and asked curiously, "What's the adult program?"

"Well... that is..."

Mrs. Granger hesitated a bit, not quite sure how to explain it to the cantankerous Professor McGonagall.

"It's a show where two people get naked, hug each other, and have a baby nya!"

?(?ΦωΦ?)?

Fish answered for Mrs. Granger.

Professor McGonagall instantly stiffened and looked at Mrs. Granger.

Mrs. Granger nodded awkwardly, though she could have been clearer, but it was basically what Fish had said.

And Hermione had soon buried her face in her arms.
