In front of a kneeling man was a throne made of pure gold and precious gems. Sitting on it was no one other than the Emperor of the Sun Empire who had an annoyed look on his face.
"What is it?" The emperor responded in an irritated voice.
"T-the, g-great-" The messenger stuttered in fear.
"T-t-the, g-g guh, I don't want to hear you stutter!" The emperor mocked, "Speak clearly before I cut off that f*cking stuttering tongue of yours!"
The messenger shivered as the emperor's aura quickly suffocated the throne room."T-the great swordsman is coming, and he sent a request,"
The emperor frowned in obvious disgust. "What does that old man want again?"
"He orders you set an event for him to pick a disciple in 2 months time,"
The emperor's face brightened, "That old man must be going to the Heavenly Realm now, he finally won't be a nuisance! What are the requirements to be his disciple?"
"The contestants must be younger than 30, cultivation doesn't matter, they must have at least a small knowledge of using swords, and their potential must be 7 or higher,"
The emperor frowned and sighed, "A potential of 6 or higher? finding people with potentials 4 or higher is hard enough, that man will always be known as a picky person... How many disciples does he plan on taking?"

The messenger didn't wait for the king to finish.
"The master also says that this event must be kept secret and can only be known in the Li empire,"
The Sun emperor groaned, "How the hell am I going to do that? It's totally not like anyone from the other empires is gonna come, right? I mean, like, for 2 months?"

The emperor stopped complaining for once and pondered, "Sects? Almost all of the Sect Masters are rotten and selfish to the core, I simply don't trust those as$holes,"
The messenger disrespectfully sighed while the emperor blabbed on why he didn't trust the sects. "Only telling the sects is one way. A safer way is by only telling one sect, perhaps the biggest or strongest sect or the sect with the closest relationship to you?"
The emperor mused as he stroked his bare chin, "Closest relationship to me?"
The messenger nodded. "However, the chances of him finding a disciple would decrease deteriorate significantly, which will most likely anger him,"
"Sigh, so I have no choice but to tell all of the sects?"
The messenger nodded, "However, you can tell the sects only to inform their inner or core disciples,"
The emperor nodded in satisfaction. "That will do,"

Wen had found a book about the Divine Swords sect's history, which he briefly read. "Sigh, reading books like this again makes me realize why I was known as a nerd in my other life..."
