Chapter 2: Back in Time
**Emily's POV**
I looked around trying to find anything familiar, but none was. Then I saw people loading some sacks in a carriage. 'Where the hell are we.' Mia asked. I looked at the men that were loading the things, their dress code screamed 'this is not the twenty first century!' 'Actually, Mia I think the question we should be asking is when are we?' but how are we here?
It makes no sense at all, I mean yesterday I slept in my room then today I wake up centuries ago. I don't even know which century this is.
'The elders!' Mia exclaimed as realization hit us both. They never wanted us as their alpha, so when dad made it final, they got rid of us. Which means one of them has access to a witch, one of them is a fucking traitor.
But the question is who.
"Please no! leave me alone! Somebody, help!" a female voice pulled me out of my train of thoughts. I looked towards the direction the voice was coming from. There were three big men harassing a young girl, she looked a bit younger than me.
By the way she dressed, if what we watch in movies is true, she was dressed like a peasant. "No one is coming for you peasant. Your life is worthless, you were born to serve us. So be a good girl and do what's right." The biggest of the three spoke as he unbuckled his pants, disgusting.
I looked at the girl, she looked defeated. Before I could even think shit through my feet had already taken me towards them.
"Now that's not how you treat a lady." I said, causing all of them to face me. I looked at the girl, she was giving me signals to get the hell out of there before those men have their way with both of us. 'Aww such a kind soul, she doesn't want anyone to suffer the same fate as her.' Mia said in the back of my head. 'Shut up." I shut her off.
The bigger one scoffed, "She is no lady." He then looked at me top to bottom checking me out with a glint of lust in his eyes, again disgusting. 'Let me rip his eyes out.' Mia offered. 'Calm down love he is just staring, we can't blame a dog for being a dog, can we?' I told her.
"Boss today must be our lucky day, two girls in one shot." The smallest of the three said licking his lips, ewe. "Okay I don't have time for this, let the girl go and no one gets hurt." They all looked at me then laughed, yes, I am in a different century.
"Don't worry we won't hurt you." The third guy said. The boss tried to touch me but before he could I broke his hand. "What the .... Bitch you'll pay for that. Get her." The boss said to his minions. 'This is going to be fun' Mia said as she made herself comfortable for the show.
By the time I was done I had knocked all of them out, thankfully I managed to not kill anyone. I helped the girl stand up. "We girls should look out for each other don't you think" I smiled at her. She still looked shaken up a little, but she'll be fine. "Thank you." She managed. I gave her another smile, "Don't mention it. I'm Emily by the way." She finally smiled back, "Josette."
Then she looked at what I was wearing, "You are not from around here are you?" she asked. Shit I completely forgot that I was still in my sleeping clothes which were shorts and a tank top.
"Actually, I don't even know where I'm from, it's like I have selective amnesia. I remember everything about me, but I don't have people or places in my memory." I fluently lied. She looked in thought for a while, "It should be a witch's doing. My mum used to tell me stories about it." She finally said. "Maybe you offended a witch." She said again. 'Or maybe we offended an elder with access to a witch.' remarked Mia.
"So, if you don't remember where you are from, I'm guessing you don't know where you are?" she asked after some time. "Nope." I replied. Then she smiled brightly, "You can come stay with me at the servants' cabin. I'm alone in my room."
'We can use a place to stay.' Mia said. 'But can we trust her?' I asked her. 'Oh, come on Emily, what's there not to trust about her. If anything, she is the one taking a risk. I mean who invites a stranger you just met to live with you.' "Thank you so much Josette, you are very kind." I told her. "You're the one told me 'Girls should look out for each other.' And besides I'm doing it for me."
On our way to her room, I discovered Josett is quite talkative when she is not in frightened mode. And I also learned that I've been transported five hundred years back in time and that this is the blood moon pack, also turns out my dad's stories about how women used to be treated were all true, maybe even worse.
Then we arrived at a big building, inside there was a very big cooking area, a dining room with a very big table and a lot of chairs and what looked like a living area or ballroom with old musical instruments in the conner and I think rooms upstairs, honestly when she said servants cabin, I was expecting a cabin.
Though everything looked old, they were all kept clean. "One of the alphas before I was born had this place built for servants." Joset explained as she led us towards the rooms upstairs.
Her room isn't very big but it's enough for two people, it has a small wardrobe, a dressing mirror, a double bed, four candle stands in every conner and a bathroom. The bathroom has a small pool in it, I'm guessing this is their version of a tub. She went to her wardrobe then came back with a pretty blue dress, "I noticed we are about the same size so I think you can fit in this." She gave it to me.
"Thank you." I said. "Oh shoot." She said and went to her wardrobed again then came back undergarments. "These are still new, I was going to sell them because they are kind of big to me but since you have a bigger butt I think you'll fit. Everything you'll need to bath is in the bathroom, the new stuff is in the small drawer that's on the wall. Call me if you need anything, I've gone to get us food." She said in one breath and left before I could say anything. 'She's a sweet girl.' Mia said.
When I finished bathing and dressing up, which was hell because this dress is so damn hard to put on, Joset was already back with a tray full of food, "I didn't know what you'd like so I just brought everything in the kitchen." We started our meal, and I came to the conclusion that the sponge cake was my favorite.
Hardly had we finished eating when we were interrupted by a very rough knock on the door. "Every maiden in this room is required outside this instance!" Said a male voice outside. I gave Josette a questioning look, but she shrugged showing she also didn't know what's going on.
When we went outside, we saw all the other servants lined up outside their rooms and a man was passing by everyone, inspecting them. "Who's that?" I asked Joset. "That's Sir Alfred, he's in charge of recruiting servants that work directedly for the alpha family." She replied. "Alpha family? How many are they.?" I asked. "They are the three of them, the alpha, his younger sister and younger brother." She replied.
I wanted to ask another question, but Alfred reached us, so we had to face the ground, which didn't sit well with my wolf. She hates any form of submission but she liked Josette so she couldn't put our new friend in trouble.
He inspected us for what felt like hours. "What are your names." He asked us. "Josett." "And you?' Alfred asked turning his attention to me. "Emily." I said still looking down. Then he stood straight and adjusted his coat, "Very well then, Josett and Emily you are to leave with me this instance. From today on wards, you will be the princess' personal servants."
