Chapter 1: No choice

A black Rolls-Royce pulled over in front of a school building, and the driver turned down the volume of the music so it was only loud enough for someone inside the car to hear. 

It was 3pm already, the school's closing hour. His gray and black eyes scanned the surroundings, catching sight of other students leaving the school, but the people he came for were nowhere to be found.

So he did a quick mind search using their scents, and pinpointed their position somewhere behind the school. Once he got that, he crossed his hands behind his head and relaxed against the seat, shutting his eyes as he waited, already knowing that they were on their way toward him.

It's been nine years since Veron returned to Silver Lake, and eight years since the birth of the twins. 

A lot had changed in eight years. The land became more prosperous, and there was peace between the vampire, witch, and dragon warriors clan.
