Chapter 16: Chapter 16 To dance with the moonlight (Rewrite)
Not too long after their escape from the prison. They arrived at a gas station to take some break. Leon gave Sarah normal clothing to hide her former prisoner status. Storm is on watch above the car, while Tsunade is healing Sarah's debilitating condition that wasn't treated when those attackers dump her at the Prison.
"Somebody is chasing us," said Kate as Storm barked. The nin dog then jump into the car as Sarah get into the seat and prepare to leave the gas station.
"Whose chasing us?"
"I can't say. They reek of blood" said Kate.
Leon's eyes go dark as he reconsiders the threat.
"Vampires!" he said.
Gunther Horn, codenamed Vamp by their team, was chasing their target. John Connor. The goal for their team is to force the Judgment day to erupt at the given time. 1997. So they must kill Sarah and John Connor at this moment.
His team member lost the Connor mother and son trace when they escaped using flash bangs and smoke screen. Worse case is the Terminator that was chasing the mother and son now also saw them as a target.
It seems killing John Connor isn't an easy task, as when he reaches the mother and son position. John Connor already awaits him.
"So your mission is to kill us huh" said Leon in a cold voice.
"Sorry kid, but for us you are a nobody"
"Well too bad then. I would ensure you are dead at this moment!" said Leon as he brought out his sword. Nuibari. Of course the Vamp watching the sword starts to worry. The sword is weird, it was like a large needle. There are few swords in the multiverse that were in that style as he knows it. But John Connor should not have access to that kind of weapon. Guns? Its normal. But using robots and weird looking swords?
When Leon suddenly disappears with the sword, he quickly jumps away. Thankfully his Vampire bloodline saved him as he could see that that sword almost pierce his body, at the same time the robots now start to fire at him forcing him to change himself to become thousands of bats to get away.
Dozens of bats were shot down by the robots. Leon slash another dozen. At this moment the Vampire has got away.
"He left!" said Kate.
"Ck" Leon clicks his tongue.

Leon knows he needs allies, but it was quite troubling. The FBI agents who know who their enemies are useless for combat purposes, but Leon could use them to scour the information about the existence of Cyberdyne mercenaries.
He still needs information on where they bring Miles Dyson. The current robots and computer he made using the Torbjorn gauntlets are not strong enough yet. One thing that he finds out is there is someone looking for them.
Meanwhile when he watched the news on their run. They heard that cops are in a mess. Somehow an entire Precinct Police force are looking for kids and murder them, while other cops are trying to stop those cops. A blue vs blue situation.
"At this moment, Los Angeles is in lockdown status. Stay off the street and lock your door. If somebody tries to enter your house, even if they are Police officer, you have the right to shoot them. By the order of the Los Angeles Police Commissioner, every Police officer in Los Angeles at this moment is not allowed to enter somebody's property until the situation is cleared" said the news anchor from the Radio.
It was not a good sign. There are few terminators in his memory that have that ability. T-X is at best only able to control Electronics. Leon doesn't really read or watch a lot of terminator franchises. At best he watches a few Terminator movies or some Terminator TV series. An unknown terminator would be trouble.

Few hours passed by when a car finally stopped at a gas station on the road to Sunnydale.
"So you know about those things in the first place kid?" ask James Ellison.
"Yeah. They are coming from the future. Would you believe me when I told you that robots from the future are trying to kill me?" he asked Ellison.
"I would likely claim you are a liar. But the record of the attack on the 16th Precinct and all the cops suddenly trying to murdering kids and civilians for no reason? And how Cyberdyne and the DoD act to cover it? It seems you are telling the truth" said Agent Simpson. She then sit down and watch Sarah Connor.
"You can't find the court report and order for her arrest right? But she was on the wanted list on the charge of prison break?" said Leon snorted. James Ellison was surprised.
"The Skynet conspiracy runs deeper than you think" said Leon as he takes his drink.
It was quite something to talk about government conspiracy with an FBI agent as both of them look troubled.
"There is nothing we can do to stop the project in any legal way. The project officially doesn't exist. Even if we caught and exposed it, they would insist it was for the greater good of the National Security. Even if you successfully remove it from military interest, they would just move Skynet to the global internet infrastructure. Each step we do is moving the time table of judgment day as far as we could into the future. Each time we destroy their project, we could get years of breathing room,"
"It won't stop?" ask Greta Simpson.
"Trying to stop a project supported by a giant company, a group of cultist that takes root inside the current strongest country? Unless you reach the level of a superpower country, it would be futile. As long as we can't reach the real Skynet in the future and stop its attempt to create a time machine and sending robots to this timeline, nothing would end"
At that moment, a young girl walks up to them. Storm who are next to Kate barks, but Leon gives a sign to stand down.
"John Connor?"
"Well, another Terminator from the future? As you don't try to shoot at me you probably from the Resistance" said Leon. Sarah was surprised.
"Yes, I am T-950 reprogrammed by the Resistance to defend you"
"Did you already have a name?"
"I am named Cameron"
