Chapter 9: kidnap part 2
I woke up to pitch blackness. My hands were tied and some type of fabric stuck in my mouth. My mind was racing. My heart beating faster then a horse after the Kentucky Derby. In a weird 3rd person kind of way I knew I was hyperventilating and needed to calm down, but I just couldn't. I don't know where I am, I don't know what happened and I don't know why.
All I can think about is Elijah. Who is going to pick him up from school? Will he be okay? Will I ever see his sweet face again?

I'm not sure how much time has passed. Last thing I remember is crying myself to sleep in the trunk of some car thinking about my son.
I can tell the car has stopped. There are some men's voices that I can barely hear. I can't make their words out. Something hits the top of the trunk. I hear what might be keys in the lock and then suddenly I am blinded by light.
Rough hands pick me up and all but throw me into a chair.
A beast of a man with biceps bigger than my head approached me.
"If I undo your restraints will you sit there quietly?"
In my head I'm thinking, is this dude for real? Who in their right mind would just sit here after they have been KIDNAPPED?
I slowly nod my head after glancing around and seeing 3 other men similarly built. I'm no mathematician, but the odds were NOT in my favor.
Mr. Beefcakes removes my gag and my restraints.
"W-water please."
