Chapter 185: Serects

Derek's thoughts didn't align with telling Davis everything about him. Too many people already knew much about him and he would not want more. He wasn't planning to reveal his identity as a teleporter yet. 

Since they were rare, he would be flooded with choices before he could even understand anything. Derek didn't want a situation of being thrown into boiling oil. From experience, he knew how bad it was to lack knowledge.

A deep understanding of hunters was needed before he would make a major choice. Besides, it had been almost three years since Uncle Davis disappeared. He would need more time before he could gain back that trust.

Not even Angel had an inkling of his plans, and the old man got it by guessing, and Derek also had a hunch that the old man was hiding a lot from him. That old man knew something, but he would have to wait until that stubborn old man finally decided to speak.
