Chapter 4: Chapter 4: After incident chat
An hour later shows the Sekizō family huddled together in their hospital room with their baby in their arms... Along with them is young Aizawa and Mr Tsuragamae.
Tsuragamae straightens his Dalmatian print tie "We've managed to conduct our interviews swiftly and have figured out what exactly happened during this incident. Woof!"
Hakime glances at his wife then back to the Dog man "What did happen...?"
"Well... First of all it appears your Daughter has quite a powerful Quirk... She can turn people to stone with eye contact alone... However it appears as if it is always active... So her eyes must remain covered until she can learn to control it... I apologise..." He bows
Asa holds her child closer "What if she can't...?"
"Then there will be alternatives with support items in the future... Now onto the incident. Woof! It began when the Nurse took the child for an examination, we believe during that examination the little one opened her eyes for the first time and turned to Nurse to stone" He runs a hand over his head "Quite the Quirk..."
The parents both look worriedly at their now sleeping baby... She already has such a heavy burden on her two hour old shoulders...
"The Nurse was then discovered by a colleague who after a cry of alarm rushed forward to check on his friend and after arriving at her side he made eye contact with your daughter... And was also turned to stone... Woof..."
Aizawa folds his arms "It was stupid the run into an unknown situation like that..." He mutters
Tsuragamae clears his throat to draw attention back to himself! "After the cry drew a crowd the crowd drew the attention of Hero duo "House of Red & Blu"; they were here on an armor related personal issue. They too were turned to stone upon trying to sooth your daughter..."
Hajime cups his chin in his hand and rubs his jaw in contemplation "She won't... Get a criminal record right...?" Asa gasps in horror!!
"No no! She's just an infant! Woof woof!" He clears his throat and straightens his tie "There will be an incident report but no criminal charges. This is an occupational hazzard for staff here and that's a fact they know quite well. Woof."
Asa breathes a sigh of relief... "So... She'll be ok...?"
"I believe so. The H.P.S.C will run tests on her Quirk when she's older in order to create the necessary safety precautions and you will put into contact with the relevant helpline that you may need in the future. Woof!"
Hajime squeezes Asa's shoulder "Thank you Sir... You too young man... You saved her..." He stands and bows to them both
Aizawa looks away awkwardly "It was nothing..."
"But still thank you..." ASA joins her husband in a bow
After a few more pleasantries and words of comfort Tsuragamae and Aizawa make their goodbyes and make their way out and down the hall
Tsuragamae turns to Aizawa as they walk "I apologise for pulling you from class Young Aizawa... Our normal response team was preoccupied. Woof!"
"It's fine... It'll look good on my record at least..."
"That it will!" He chuckles
Aizawa scratches his head... "So... Turning people to stone huh... Isn't there an really old story about a snake lady that did that...?"
Tsuragamae rubs his chin in thought "Hm... If I recall... The ancient Greek myth of the Gorgon Medusa or something... A breathtakingly beautiful woman cursed by a jealous Goddess to be so ugly looking at her turned people to stone..."
Aizawa frownd "Gorgon...?"
"Medusa's species, they also had Snakes for hair. Woof!"
Aizawa ponders... "How about that for her Quirk name then...? Gorgon"
Tsuragamae considers "Hm... I'll suggest it to the Doctor but it's ultimately the parents' decision. Now let's get you back to school young man! Woof!"
