The protagonist's name is Emilia Reinhart, with blonde hair and blue eyes, fine and delicate features, with a height of 173 cm. She has a slim build, although she looks a bit muscular due to her regular exercise. She has an elastic body, good balance, good posture due to martial arts training. Her chest is developing very fast, causing him constant discomfort. Her feet and hands are completely black due to his peculiarity, this blackness increases and grows on her extremities with the passing of time. Both growths have stopped at her knees and elbows, giving him an incredible physical defense, but he does not feel hard to the touch.
She has no interest in boys, only girls, due to the fact that he is a man of indeterminate age reincarnated as a girl. With a somewhat "wild" and rude attitude, she knows how to take things seriously, such as his practice to improve his fists and kicks, creating a very unrestrained style. She has some medical knowledge, especially in first aid. She does not like to gamble because she rarely wins and she does not like that.
Her mother is an American biologist and physician, and her father is a Japanese physicist and engineer. Her mother's quirk is one that would normally be considered "villainous" on Earth, but on Mars there is no such discrimination, even if you wanted a person without a quirk, they wouldn't mock or mistreat you, Martians are very close-knit, very tolerant and even look like a tribe.
Back to the topic, her mother's quirk is called "Curse", basically it works when you look at someone with bad intentions and wish them terrible things, that person will feel uncomfortable, tremble, itch and if there are strong negative emotions involved, they will feel feverish, nauseous and want to vomit. That's why she's considered a "villain," no one likes to feel sick, even though not many people made fun of her in her presence, no one could prove that she used her quirk, maybe when you laughed at her, the food went bad for you at that moment and you got sick.
On the other hand, her mother managed to develop this quirk by studying the "curses" of folklore, living in the United States, mystical themes were not uncommon, especially in certain parts of the country, so it can be said that she developed many functions of her quirk, and well, with so many intelligent and capable people, how could she be chosen? A curse here and there, using the data collected from her competitors, she managed to get a permanent job in the Mars colony, where it pays very well.
During her research, her mother learned that her peculiarity had been trained and "awakened" to the extreme, the effort, the sweat, the determination and the stress of wanting to outdo at all costs other scientists as outstanding as herself, made her go beyond her limits, thus turning her peculiar "curse" into real cursed magic.
Her father was much simpler, he could manipulate her shadow and give her a copy of his mentality, embodying it in a shadowy and formless avatar, she used it to study because somehow it worked as a shadow clone of Naruto, studying twice as much, and well, two heads are better than one. Although this quirk gives him some physical strength, the man's temperament is very "herbivorous", and his only use was for his own education and academic development.
Now, Emilia's quirk is the combination of her parents' quirk, an awakened quirk plus a wasted quirk, gave birth to "Cursed Shadow", an unconscious being related to her soul that took shape with her shadow, come on, a stand, but that everyone could see.
Apart from giving the user a good physical condition, it also gave her a great mental resistance and a strong will, that to an accelerated thinking. On the other hand, the cursed shadow is a completely black being, similar to the darkest material that current technology has achieved. It has no distinguishing features, except that it grows like Emilia.
The Light, or lack of it, does not seem to affect her in the slightest, but when it manifests, it puts some pressure on Emilia's mind and body, though it can be resolved with training, but every time Emilia gets stronger, the Shadow does too, putting constant pressure on her, like a constant curse that always weighs on her, though she never hated it for that.
On the other hand, this Shadow is incredibly strong, surpassing its bearer in strength, and though it cannot deform like other Shadow powers, it has incredible physical abilities. It can share its sensations with Emilia, allowing her not only to experience what it does, but also to feel what a truly strong person feels like, which drives her to grow more and more.
But like every stand... well, like every quirk combined, she also has the ability to curse, though she does it differently, emitting mental pollution as if she were a Lovecraftian being. Not only does it cause discomfort, chills, itching, and if Emilia's emotions are strongly negative, it will cause fever, nausea, and the urge to vomit, but not only that, if the contamination persists, it can cause weakness, delirium, hallucinations, and even unconsciousness. These effects can only be ignored or endured with pure willpower or a quirk capable of eliminating negative states, for even if the ability is not used or the quirk is revoked, the effects do not cease because they have already fully affected others.
Since there was no technological backlash in this version of the MHA world, humanity was able to advance rapidly with the help of quirks, using them for research and development of new technologies and energy sources. Thus, a colony was created on Mars, where the protagonist lives. It is called Olympus.
Although the current society does not show many changes cyberpunk style due to the policy of misuse of technology, similar policy to the misuse of quirks without silence, only this time it is more directed to large corporations and governments.
Dangerous technologies and weapons are limited, technologies that can cause drastic changes in the environment are limited. And while cars may not be able to fly in this future, at least they are fully electric and efficient, even with far superior automated driving.
The only place on Earth where you can use super advanced technology is on I-Island, unless you have a license or permit to use restricted technology (weapons, fuels, superconductors, and various super advanced and crazy things).
But don't think that the normal technology or what the heroes usually use is not cutting edge, but the difference is that it is legal, causes little or no damage to the environment, and is not dangerous to the masses.
Although she was born on Mars, the connection with Earth is very strong, she can go to the mother planet and hang out, or she can use the Internet from Mars without any problem or rejection due to the advanced technology, in fact she has a YouTube channel where she shares some of her experiences in the Mars colony.
