Chapter 43: A.R.Z !!!

"We have been waiting for your arrival" one of the managing department staff come ahead and lead Oki and David to a meeting room.
While Oki and David were in a meeting, the initial procedures of the reactors to go online were taking place. This wasn't the first time the reactor is being used. In fact, this was the fourth time after its completion, the previous usage before now was to check if the reactor was a success or not, and all three times was a success.
The energy produced by the ARZ was nearly 40 times that of a standard nuclear reactor, and the ARZ dominated the renewable energy output of the I-island by a huge margin.
In the meeting room-
Oki, along with David, was attending an urgent meeting which a group of unnecessary low-level business sponsors asked for.
"Mr Oki we have thought about this and came to a conclusion that the ARZ you have theorised and also made with 2,600 scientists is revolutionary but the problem now we have is that we can't use it to the 100%." A bald-headed man with a tuxedo looks at Oki as if Oki was beneath him. The man next to the bald-headed man had emerald hair with handsome features and in a suit that of his hair colour, took a breath and continued what the bald-headed man was supposed to say. "Since I-island already has enough power to work all by itself with the renewable resources, we all thought about things and came to a conclusion that we either use ARZ only for movement though that would only be utilising just under 10% of the ARZ's full potential or stop using renewable energy."
David listening to the baldy's talk, he facepalmed himself which didn't go unnoticed by others 'Is this guy thinking Oki a baby or what? Ballet lies *sigh* they speak as if they are the biggest sponsors of ARZ.'
The bald-headed man scoffed and stood up and patted imaginary dust on his coat and placed his arms on the table, and leaned forward. "We want you to make ARZ for us." The rest of the people looked at him with different expressions. Though the man didn't care as he stood erect and interlocked his fingers, "We are only asking you because we are missing the stabiliser and the inner core, my BlackGold company would like to buy it, name your price."
'You have all the blueprints? Well, as if Oki believes that. Idiots like you really think Oki is a kid and you can do whatever they want huh.' David was laughing internally as he knew that there was no way they collected the blueprints.
Why? Oki kept a safety procedure that if a person wants to get his hands on blueprints, he has to ask 2,600 scientists, and the blueprints he would receive would be nearly 6000. And out of 6000 blueprints, 3000 of them were unnecessary, and if a guy is hoarding 6000 blueprints or even scanning them, would be noticed by the towers A.I. and would soon lock them up for interrogation.
Hearing what Baldy said, all the other character sponsors in the meeting room had killing intent directed towards Baldy.
"Our Latern company will pay twice what BlackGold offers, sell it to us!"
"Sell it to me, my Trends will pay ...
"You shut your trap...
"Sell it to our alliance...
"Don't sell it to them...
The whole meeting room was in chaos after Baldy had spoken.
Oki just closed his eyes and slept in his chair while David was trying to calm things down, and it took him roughly 20 minutes.
David woke up Oki after the chaos quelled, and it was at this moment, many sponsors felt awkward as they were all flaunting things in front of a kid of 14 years, but none of their wasted energy went to the kid's mind nor ears.
"So you guys calmed down huh." Oki yawned and opened the bottle of water near him, and took few gulps. "I am sorry mister Stephan Gold, I don't know how a man who sponsored a million dollars in nearly ten billion plus dollar project would be able to buy the stabiliser and inner core blueprints from me and I was thinking all this time that you were bankrupt as you only sponsored so less."
Hearing this, Baldy's face was getting red. "Tell me how many times did you use your quirk on me just now? " These words from Oki's mouth made everyone turn towards Baldy and look at him with gazes that had complex meanings.
'These guys are really a pain in the ass, these idiots didn't even ask the superiors of I-island for a meeting and directly arranged one by blackmailing a worker and they think by saying things negatively would make me not want to happen and then use that broken me to sell them blueprints so that they can sell it or even build it... well they can't but they don't know, and now I wonder how do they know only I have the blueprints for stabilizer and inner core? ... That baldy just tried to tap into my mind again, I will give him 5 more chances before I kick him out.'
Oki stood up and stretched his arms a bit, and sat down.
"I apologise for sleeping when you were telling me about the great companies you have behind you, I am but a busy kid who didn't sleep all night due to some works I had to take care of."
For some reason, all the people felt as if the positions had been swapped. They unknowingly started sweating. "I will say this once and so hear it keenly. The stabiliser and the inner core's blueprint aren't for sale. Though you guys founded high-end companies, do you think you guys were the only ones who sponsored ARZ?"
"Yayorozu, Apple, DoomDoors, Mon Inc, FDoary and Nemo, Nuwa, Fuxi and many more sponsored ARZ. All the companies that stand at the top 100 did and even they didn't ask for my blueprints and they pleaded me not to sell, as they knew the consequences of such a thing falling in the hands of idiots or leaked by a spy in their company can be disastrous.
ARZ alone can break the quirk society if it falls into the wrong hands and I don't want that to happen and so does many sponsors well not you of course, you guys thought just sponsoring a million or two was so great... *sigh* and since my ways of thinking and theirs were the same we already made an agreement saying that I won't be disclosing things about ARZ."
"You mean that my visit is WASTE!" The Baldy's eyes were bloodshot.
"He... hahaha.... hahaha... Is this your 14th, now 15th, now 16th time you are using your quirk on me. Also weren't you guys the one who conducted the meeting without I-island superiors, well never mind they won't hear what occurs hear anyway."
Oki laughs heartfully and looks at Baldy as if he was worthless.
"You see I attended the meeting to say that stop trying to buy even the scientists or me well, if only one of you guys tried it, you can't as well. You guys have companies just worth near 200 million USD, this is your first time sponsoring in I-island, so know some things first before acting on your greed, also I am not sure how you guys came up with the thought of buying without asking superiors... I am sure there would be severe consequences well as I said I won't be talking about that... ...
Well, Mr Goldy, next time you use your quirk on me you will be having consequences to face."
"Also since you guys were so nice, this is a parting gift." Saying that Oki throws 20 or so balls in front of the 50 idiots.
The balls emit a gas with a light violet/purple tint to it when seen from an angle, which only a few idiots noticed, and then chaos was what occurred.
Oki walks out while David had already left. They take long strides and reach the control room.
looking from the control room of the ARZ, "Well, at least it is put to use."As Oki's project was on a league on its own, David was a little sad that the current I-island couldn't utilise its full potential and benefits.
"Yeah it is being used, I would say to completely use ARZ it would take about twenty years or enlarging the I-island twice should help." Oki drinks water as the speech he gave just now made his throat dry. "Well, I think it's time for me to go back."
David looks at the Oki who just spoke. He clenched his fist knuckle white, "You leaving to japan?" David turned around, showing Oki just his back.
"Yeah..." Oki turns towards David, and he knew that David was crying. "I want to join U.A High. Also Uncle David, I will visit whenever I could, so don't be sad."
Looking at the trembling David, Oki sighs, " I thought of going Japan last month, but... I wanted to see the functioning ARZ well at least partially, sigh and those damn mutts ruined it and also I wanted to spend time with you and Melissa."
"O-k" Saying that, David bolted out of the room.

A week passes by-
"Email me when you have the time to which you definitely will have, and" Melissa bear hugs Oki and whispers, "Get yourself a good girlfriend."
Oki just shook his head as he knew what Melissa was like.
"Sure, I will try I guess."
Oki says his goodbyes to everyone who he had worked with for three years.
"Take care of yourself uncle David, you to Melissa!." Saying that Oki boards his flight, leaving puffed eyed David and cheering Melissa.
"Sure! Be careful!"
"I WILL!" David waves his hands at the flight. "TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF!"
And so the day came to an end.

Meanwhile-
"Could I ever hope to be someone like you!" A green-haired kid closing his eyes asks the hero he always idolised, who was in front of him.
"Without a quirk?"

Also, somewhere in the United Kingdom-
"My liege, we have found a kid with the family name of Takemikazuchi, he may be the Japanese hero's relative." A woman with pink armour covering only her private parts spoke, followed by a man with a high pitched voice which almost made everyone laugh around the round table they were sitting. "His name is Oki Takemikazuchi, he is the one who won the tech tournament 3 years ago."
'I can't hold it much longer!'- All the round table members. (Like Pika's voice from One-piece)
"I see... we shall wait a year more so that the pests would stop searching for us."

I have decided on Oki's Love interest, and what do you think All Might would say? Will he choose Izuku Midoriya after the events? Or will he stick to Oki? (Well, I did say the answer a lot on who will inherit the power)
I wanted to show that I-island also takes in outside sponsors and the ones here thought of manipulating Oki due to his young age. This meeting wasn't supposed to happen, and how people with no experience sometimes let their greed run wild and not think of its consequences.
I am sorry if this chapter was boring.
