Chapter 2: 2 The Beginning of The Storm
[Musutafu City]
In an unsuspecting alley near a shopping center, a row of trashcans is neatly arranged. A cat was laying on one of the trashcan casually and suddenly the cat instinctively turn his head to look at the shadow beside him as he prepared to pounce on whatever is coming towards him.
Second after that, a hand emerge from the shadow and rip the shadow itself in half vertically, then Kageyama crossed the 'shadow door' that he made and wave his hand. After that the 'shadow door' dissolve itself and the shadow returned normal again.
The cat hissed at Kageyama and wanted to pounce on his face, but suddenly the cat's movement was paralyzed as his shadow got control by Kageyama, he stared the cat with his glowing purple eye menacingly making the cat so scared really bad that he ran as fast as possible from Kageyama as he release the shadow of the cat.
Kageyama stared at the cat as he ran away from him in silence and muttered softly as he pout "I just want to pet him... why he's running away from me...sigh, nevermind...". After he takes a minute to calm himself "Alright then, let's just go and see if there's anything that I can do while walking around, there has to be something I need buy too I guess?"
As Kageyama spent about an hour walking around in the shopping center occasionally buying some new kind of clothes, books and of course, a damn new alarm clock too. He kept everything inside his shadow and decided to go to a cafe and buy a drink as he was feeling a bit tired of wandering around the huge shopping center non-stop for an hour.
As he sat down in the cafe alone while playing on his phone, almost all the ladies inside the cafe couldn't resist taking a good look at him as he was quite tall for someone of his age and also because he was very handsome and attractive. The serious face he has while playing on his phone invites a lot of women's attention. After finishing his drink, he decided to walk home instead of using shadow as he felt something about to happen but he couldn't seem to remember what it was.
Kageyama was currently at one of the shopping streets in the city and the closest path to his house. As he leisurely walking back home, he heard a commotion and people start to gather around an alley not so far from him so he decided to take look from afar.
After he got a good look at the situation, he saw a boy around his age going on a rampage as he tried to fend off the Sludge Villain who was trying to take control his body and from the looks of it, the boy just making the situation even worse, the buildings around him are on fire and the heroes can't get close to them to help the boy.
-Kageyama P.O.V-
'Oh... that's Bakugo right, so that's mean the plot is starting to move. Hmmmm... so that's mean, the other guy is here too right?'. He looks around for a bit and saw the main character of MHA. 'So that's the main character... he is weak yet the determination he has to help others is strong but how's he gonna help others if he cannot even help himself' and he looks around once again trying to find skinny All Might 'Where is he.... aha! there he is, heh, weakened All Might huh? Even in weakened form, I can still feel the power radiating from his body even though he's trying to conceal it.
'Hoho... his senses are also sharp even in weakened form, as expected of Number 1 Hero.' Kageyama commented on as he saw All Might looks around trying to find the piercing gaze that he felt. Kageyama retract his gaze from All Might, and walk around the crowd and walk up to All Might from behind while he lower his presence a bit.
-All Might P.O.V-
All Might feels really bad right now because it's his fault that the Sludge Villain escaped and now he's causing chaos again. He had reached his time limit and cannot transform again and can only watch the situation in front of him unfold, he can only hope the heroes nearby can save the student.
Suddenly, he felt the presence of someone behind him so he turn around and saw a rather tall young man wearing an oversized hoodie with the hoodie covered up his head, his face is half covered in unnatural shadow while his hands are in the hoodie's pockets. He was amazed for bit as he could feel the young man's aura even though he tried to hide it.
Suddenly the young man, our mc Kageyama turn his head looks straight at All Might and ask him "Hey uncle, what's happening there? A villain on rampage?" All Might clench his hands at the side while looking back at the situation and replied "It looks like a villain is trying to take over a student body and causing damage to surrounding area". His voice is a mix bit of bitterness and anger at his own helplessness.
Kageyama replied "Hmm... it looks like, the heroes don't have suitable quirks to help the student and the things is getting worse with that student's quirk too." as he saw Backdraft and normal firefighters were busy trying to put out all the nearby fire, Death Arms and Kamui Woods can only save civilians and avoiding collateral damage, while Mt. Lady is unable to help at all because of her quirk as she cannot damage the entire area.
All Might didn't reply to Kageyama as he looks down trying to contain his own feelings so they both fell into a silence moment. Suddenly, Kageyama smile a bit and said "Hoh... looks like something is going to happen over there". All Might look up and he gasped as now another student jumped in straight forward without hesitation trying to help his 'friend', making all the heroes and civilians shout frantically to stop him but looks like he's not even listening and charge straight to the student that are being held hostage by the Sludge Villain.
"Heh...that guy straight up running ahead trying to help his friend without hesitation, he sure is brave, but from the looks on his face, his legs must have moved own their own before he realizes it, what a hero like personality..." Kageyama commented while looking at All Might. All Might mood brighten up after hearing his comment but before All Might can say anything, Kageyama continue "Then, as fellow students that inspired to become heroes in the future, let me lend a hand." his eyes glow purple as he commands his shadow "Bind him." so the shadow obeyed.
Immediately after that his shadow spread out and become hundred of small yet strong and firm tendrils, they travels through the crowd's and the building's shadow at fast speed and arrive at the alley. After that, the shadow tendrils come out of the shadow inside the alley from many different side and straight up grab the Sludge Villain body from many angles, stopping the villain movements.
The sudden commotion surprised the heroes and crowd, but the heroes immediately seized the opportunity and quickly rush ahead and separated Bakugo from the villain quickly, they immediately brought a special container to trap the villain, as they have solve the issue at hand, the shadow tendrils quickly retreat back into the shadow and return to Kageyama silently and smoothly without anyone knowing beside All Might next to him.
All Might's jaw opened slightly looking at the young man beside him in shocks, as he naturally saw all the young man just do, he immediately concluded that this young man can manipulate his shadow as he please. He looks at the subtle purple glow in Kageyama sharp eyes, he feels a bit chill as it's a bit rather unnerving sight.
Kageyama then turn the alley next to him, and start walking towards the shadow and said to skinny All Might without looking back "It looks like the case have been solved, I hope you can keep what happened just now as a secret uncle, I'm going home first, bye-bye~". Just like before, he step into the shadow then he's gone.
All Might blinked a few times and finally smile while chuckle a bit and said "All right, let's keep it as a secret for now then, good bye young man." All Might then looked at the green haired kid that he met earlier and muttered "a hero like personality huh... looks like I finally found my successor."
-Back to Kageyama-
'So that's All Might huh... the power he has is very enormous, I can't sense the depth of his strength at all even though he is weakened...' The plot has started to move, that's mean there is about 10 months left before U.A. Entrance Exam. "It looks like I have to up my training again, things are going to be hectic from now on, I'm getting excited!" he said as his eyes started glowing purple while the shadow surrounding him become restless sensing Kageyama's emotion.
