'What do you mean that someone is trying to kill my mother?' Lexine asked, her lips pulled down in a deep frown. The change in her demeanor went unnoticed by Ceeret who was busy speaking on the phone with her papi.

"What is wrong with you? You were the most excited about Ashley leaving home that you ordered so much food. Then you up and leave. If Chris had not told us that you were alright, we would have sent people to look for you. Where are you? Did something happen?"

Ceeret chuckled, "Papi, I am perfectly alright, why wouldn't I be? I just need to ask you for a favor."

Unbeknownst to the redhead, she was currently on speakerphone, so her words were all heard by those in the room as well. Her maternal grandmother immediately shouted into the phone, "Is someone bullying you darling. You can tell us. There is no need to be scared of anyone especially since you are from our family. Can you hear me darling?"
