Chapter 60: Episode 57: Alpha and Omega (2)
******** Carolus' POV ********
What is happening?
Why is the Ender Dragon trying to break through the overworld?
Only the Ender Dragon's head manages to get past through the hole in the sky but she is trying to rip it wide using her hands. She is having trouble widening the hole but she still manages to enlarge the gateway. It won't take long for her to pass through the portal.
The Ender Dragon roared once again and this time, Rose and I covered our ears since it is really loud and hard to tolerate.
I suddenly noticed something while covering my ears. The Ender Dragon is looking straight at me.
The Ender Dragon opened her mouth and breath multiple fireballs at our direction and they are coming here so fast.
I quickly turned my head to the place where the children are standing and I'm pretty sure they will get hit by the blast of one of the fireballs once it gets here.
I was about to run towards the children to save them when suddenly Rose grabbed me then slammed me into a wall in the stables and both of us manages to punch through.
We rolled in the floor and the horses suddenly whine when multiple explosions occurred outside.
The wooden stables suddenly caught fire and we quickly run outside.
Everything around us is on fire and we can't see a single living being in the surroundings. There are soldiers on top of the citadel though but I don't think they can do anything about the Ender Dragon.
The Ender Dragon is still roaring in the sky but my attention is now glued on the crater where the children stood.
I quickly run towards the crater and notices something on the ground beside the hole.
A compass.
I picked up the compass and held it in my hand. It still works but I can't see the children anywhere or the boy who I gave this compass to.
No. That can't be. This is not happening.
"King Carolus. Are you alright?" Rose asked from behind but I didn't answer her and just stares at the crater.
I then look up in the sky towards the Ender Dragon.
All my patience, calmness and rationality quickly disappeared. I am now filled with so much rage.
I equipped my armor and diamond hammer in my hand.
"Wait. What are you doing?" Rose asked but I just ignored her and threw an ender pearl towards the Ender Dragon.
I threw the ender pearl with everything I got so it is flying so straight and so fast.
I ready myself for what about to happen and it didn't take long for me to teleport in front of the Ender Dragon's head.
I quickly swing my giant hammer in the Ender Dragon's face. The blow is really strong and she recoils a little bit. She is still holding tight on the edges of the crack in the sky so I decided to target her hands instead.
I swing my hammer on her left hand but then she let go before my weapon can even hit her. She then grabs me with her right hand and pulls me in the portal.
The Ender Dragon is so strong that I'm having trouble escaping her grip but I still manage to escape after struggling for a while.
I fall on the ground for about 5 blocks in height and I quickly get back on my feet then hop back to distance myself from the Ender Dragon.
I turned around and see that the portal is starting to close but I was quickly interrupted by the Ender Dragon since she tried to eat me.
I managed to avoid being eaten but the portal is now fully closed. I just now realized that I'm trapped here.
"It is great to finally meet you, Outsider." The Ender Dragon started speaking.
I'm not really sure what language she is using since I speak quite a lot of languages in this world but I notice that she is speaking my dialect back in my own world.
It has been a while since I heard my own language and it surprises me greatly.
"I see that you are starting to forget your own language so I just have to speak in Astikuvilian." The Ender switches language and she is now speaking in a language that Queen Thea and Arthur uses.
I switch my weapon in hand to a sword and started looking around.
There are 10 obsidian towers surrounding us and it is equal in height unlike in the game. White beams are being projected out on top of the obsidian towers and it looks like it is chaining the Ender Dragon, limiting her movements and it also looks like that she can't fly.
I'm in the End Dimension right now and I have no idea how to get back in the overworld but I'm past caring about that right now. I'm still full of rage and I want to kill this Ender Dragon.
"I got to be honest with you, I didn't think the portal that I made will be connected close to your location. I guess destiny always has its ways." The Ender Dragon said while laughing.
"But it still too early for this encounter, Outsider." The Ender Dragon continued.
I noticed that this Ender Dragon is twice bigger than in the game. She is also a lot more menacing and a lot more powerful. I guess this is it for me but I'm not going down without a fight.
"I guess I just have to play with you for a moment to kill my boredom." The Ender Dragon said while flexing her body and trying to spread her wings but failed since the white chains around her body is tightening.
"Well, you look at that. The Goddess is trying to tighten her grip on me but it is now too late for you. You are at my feet and you are surrounded."
'Surrounded?' I asked myself.
The Ender Dragon suddenly roared and I just endured the loudness of her scream. I try to steady myself and held tight to my weapon.
I can hear thousands of footsteps in the surroundings and it didn't take long for me to see thousands of monsters standing in the border of the obsidian towers.
Zombies, All types of Skeletons, Giant Spiders and many more. Most of the monster in the game that I can remember is right here on this huge end island. They are thousands of them and most of the monsters that can walk on two feet are equipped with diamond armor and diamond weapons.
I raised my sword and look at it. My hands are steady and I don't feel any fear. I guess I'm tired of it all and just wanted to end this nightmare.
I look at the Ender Dragon and prepare myself for a battle.
"Shall we begin?" The Ender Dragon asked but I didn't answer her and just started charging towards her.
I jumped towards her face and was about to swing my sword when suddenly she opened her mouth and breath a huge purple fire.
I didn't have time to equipped a shield or threw an ender pearl to evade the purple fire. I received the full attack of the Ender Dragon.
After a while, I managed to hit the ground while enduring the attack and quickly hopped back to distance myself. Charging head-on was a bad idea.
Thankfully, my armor is still in good condition and I didn't receive any damage. There are tiny cracks though in my chest plate and gauntlet so I use my levels to repair them. I need to keep my armor in full durability since this is the only thing that is keeping me alive otherwise one hit from the Ender Dragon without my armor to protect my body will kill me instantly.
"You are diverse in battle, I see. You have seen some action at least but it is still not enough. Let see what you can do." The Ender Dragon said and she started roaring.
The monsters who are standing outside the circle of obsidian towers started charging towards me. There are too many of them and I don't even know that I can kill them because of their equipment.
The first ones who manage to reach me are the skeletons who are riding skeleton horses. They pointed their spears at me and I just change my weapon into a bow and nocked some explosive arrows.
I loosed the explosive arrows at them and manages to kill the skeleton cavalry but the other monsters are now close to me.
I changed my weapon into a sword and started killing the horde of monsters. There are too many of them and I'm having trouble killing the ones wearing a diamond gear.
The Ender Dragon didn't sit idly by and used this opportunity to breathe fireballs at me.
I managed to evade the Ender Dragon's fire this time by throwing an ender pearl on the distance. I teleported near the Ender Dragon's feet and stab my sword in the Dragon's left foot.
She screamed so loud and there a status window suddenly appeared in front of me.

I managed to at least inflict one heart of damage but before I can celebrate from my little victory, the Ender Dragon yanked her left foot and I quickly pulled back my sword so I won't get carried away.
She then slammed her left foot hard at me and I didn't get the chance to evade so I block the attack with both of my hands.
The ground shakes hard with the impact and my hands and body really hurt but I'm still standing.
The Ender Dragon started to exert more force in her left foot to flatten me on the ground and my legs are about to give up. I'm like carrying the whole world right now.
My gauntlets started showing signs of breaking since it is slowly losing durability.
The Ender Dragon suddenly lifted her left foot and spin around to hit me with her tail.
I flew towards one of the obsidian towers and got slammed so hard. I then hit the ground with my head first.
I definitely felt pain with that attack so I opened my status to see how much damage I received.

I lose two hearts so I guess I got lucky that I didn't receive more damage.
Before I can even fully stand on my feet, arrows started flying towards me coming from the horde of monsters and I quickly equipped a shield in my hand to block all of them. One of the arrows managed to hit me in the right leg though and it buries deep.
There goes another heart in my health.
I pulled the arrow out and notice that the tip is made out of diamond. Now I know why the arrow managed to pierce my armor.
I didn't throw the arrow away and switch my weapon into a bow.
I nocked the diamond tip arrow in the bow and aimed at the Ender Dragon.
It was quite hard to concentrate since thousands of monsters are charging towards me but I managed to lose the arrow.
The arrow flew so fast towards the Ender Dragon but she just opened her mouth and burn the arrow down.
The Ender Dragon roared once again making the entire horde of monsters stop in their tracks and they started to back away towards the outside of the circle of obsidian towers.
"Is that it? How disappointing." The Ender Dragon said to me but I'm not affected by her words.
I have a lot of things going on to me right now to be bothered with her words.
My right leg is bleeding and my body hurts.
I grab a Potion of Healing VI in my inventory and poured the content of the bottle in my right leg. The wound quickly closed up and my health restored quite a bit.
After healing myself, I started flexing my body to see if there are other damages I didn't notice but I didn't find any so I'm glad about that.
I hold my sword in my hand and started swinging it around to condition myself.
I then stared at the Ender Dragon.
'I have forgotten how many times I killed her in the game so this right here should be a piece of cake.' I said to myself and started charging towards the Ender Dragon.
