Then, without care, the man on the shoulder entered the territory of the small kingdom. Green leaves follow him like butterflies.
"Cradily can you sense something?"
He asked the monster treant that carries him, but the treant shook its head,
"Humans are hiding in their houses but they were asked not to get out for one week because there's a disease in the air,"
The treant replied, somewhere in a random house, there's a family of four sucked out of their bodily fluids, and tree roots suddenly moved down the ground.
"I see. Let's proceed where the little king was staying. Remember, don't leave any clues behind or humans would be alerted. It would be hard to be hunted right now. Now's not the time,"
Said the man on the shoulder of the treant with an evil smile on his shadowy face.
"Did you already spread the poison powder through the air?"
The treant asked with his vibrating voice.
"Yes, should we eliminate all humans?"
The elf said with a smirk.
"If we kill a lot of them, their higher-ups would know our existence. Our roots are far stronger than theirs and once the billion years of renewal start, all of us will go back to our roots,"
The treant said while thinking of something.
"I see. It's not the time yet. I decided I won't release poison into the air, but I'll make them hallucinate. I want to do something to their king before we took his cursed heart,"
The shadow man said.
'I wonder why a powerful newborn protector treant came with me? He's supposed to stay in our forest. Just what is happening? I don't need his help,'
"Yes, I must keep all the traces erased," the treant said.
His voice was gloomy, but the man in the shadow ignored it.
"Let's hurry to the little king or ruler of this little kingdom,"
The shadow man said.
'I don't know what's happening, I am alone most of the time but this treant came with me, many people must've been after that cursed heart by the witches,'
He proceeded happily, leaving the treant behind. Cradily only looks at the back of the shadow man,
'You are wrong. All the news about the cursed heart was eliminated by the elder. I am here for a reason,'
Soon the duo was in front of the King's castle.

He said, while Cradily only nodded at him.
The duo didn't meet any obstructions; Knight Guards, Butler, Soldiers, and even maids or cleaners.
"Don't be careless, something's wrong with this place."
Cradily said, his gigantic body moved slowly and cautiously, this made the man in shadow by surprise.
'What's wrong? Didn't that guy only awaken his disorder power? Why is Cradily acting suspiciously, isn't he a powerful guardian?'
The man in shadow's eyes widened a little because he realized something,
'Could it be that the kingdom's hero is back? No, if they were here, all the guards would've been here too. Plus, the spies said that it's safe because the hero general and his troops were currently subduing rampaging temporal beasts?'
That hero is the brother of young king Baal Throunos, he is considered a hero for his contribution to the kingdom. Everyone loves him and they even want him to succeed as a king, however, he is not a pureblood royal.
He is just a son of the late king from another woman, not the queen so he didn't become the new king.
