Chapter 12: chapter 2 (part 3)
' no please!' she screamed on top of her lungs struggling to free herself from the restraints and crying her eyes out. ' brother!! Please!! I beg you!!! I'm scared!'
' stop struggling!' one of them shouted at her , the light above her was so close and so bright but she couldn't see their faces , only their white masks and the sharp tools coming near her . ' you'll kill yourself'
' no! No! Please! Don't hurt me!' She screamed till her cords were nearly off when the scalpel touched her cat ears.
Ella shot up sweating cold sweat , she was breathing heavily as she touched the top of her head . Her ears are gone , no scalpels no weird looking surgeons... She was safe and sound in her room , her brother was sleeping in the lower bunker and everything is fine , She never was scared , sad , happy or anything ... Yet her heart was racing as if she was in a race and she couldn't get back to sleep....
'Whats wrong with me?' she thought as she hugged her doll. ' why am I .... so .... scared ...' suddenly she heard something break down in the kitchen , She jumped down and started walking down the stairs.
Damien was leaning on the counter cursing under his breathe as he picked up a few pieces of broken glass before throwing it back in. The room was pitch black except for the faint light of the hallway and the half closed fridge.
"Damien?" Ella asked slowly walking towards him "what are you doing ? it's .. Damien?" She got ' worried ' from him being unresponsive . She slowly pulled her pocket knife she keeps with her. " Are you ok?" He turned to look at her and smiled.
"yeah .. I'm fine , I wanted a drink of water but I broke the glass so... sorry" He smiled widely and acted nervous , But she wasn't buying it.
"They got bigger" She said pointing at the 4 inch long horns on his head , They were usually hidden by his bright red hair but now they were obvious. " what happened?"
"..."
" ..... Fine don't tell me" she said walking back to her room. Just ... Go back to sleep after you ... do that thing...."
"Turn it off."
"What?" She turned to see he was right behind her. "How did yo-
"Don't use your powers on me Dysty " His skin became jet black , His eyes turned bloody red and Black ooze dripped from his eyes and mouth that was carved into a huge smile and his horns were huge and in a slight curve and were half the size of her fore arm. She felt her heart skip a beat and her eyes were wide in complete terror as he grabbed her and every part of her felt like it was melting. "You'll Die anyway~"
She screamed and screamed but nobody came , She was for the first time in years so terrified , She couldn't use her powers.
"Ella , Ella , Ella , Ella" He repeated as she rose out of her bed screaming and covering her head.
"Ella!!" She heard her brother yell as he grabbed her arms. "It was just a nightmare , It's ok , It's just another nightmare"
"sh... Sh... He was... I..." She said between her sobs " He's gonna kill me!!"
"No one is going to kill you." He said putting an arm around her shoulders "I'm here , You're safe , He isn't going to do anything. Not again"
"DID SOMEONE DIE!!" Damien yelled rushing to their room" IS 13 HERE!!"
Ella shrieked at his sight pushing herself away from her brother and into the corner and started crying again. Both of them just stared at her in confusion.
"Ella?" Anthonie mumbled slowly approaching her .
"Keep him away from me .... please..... Keep him away..." She mumbled as she covered her face with her arms. "I beg you...."
"What are you t-?" Anthonie said turning to Damien who stared at her blankly finally making out what's going on he slowly walked out back to his room. "Damien? what's wrong with you too!?" Anthonie looked both ways trying to figure out what's going on. Poor child , it might be too late.
