Chapter 32: chapter 5 part 2
Jamie's water broke , And as soon as she was in the operating room Max had to wait outside. He walked up and down biting his nails out of habit and waiting for her screams and swears to stop , She probably bit one of the nurses because he heard one of them screeching. He started stressing and putting out the worst possibilities that could have probably happened , He was too stressed most of the others in the waiting room thought he was the father.
"Jesus Christ, Max" He heard a voice say , he turned to see Ella laying on two chairs with her head nearly on his lap. " If you keep up like this , Everyone thinks your the father already" She smirked , for some reason she did smell alittle of blood.
" I'm not in the mood to keep up with your sh*t " He said.
" Awe , You know I really like you , don't you? " She shifted to lay in her stomach still smirking , She layed her head in her palm.
" Of course " he said sarcastically " And I actually am so in love with you that I'd rather kill you "
" Ah! I'm flattered " she said playfully.
" Can you please leave " He sighed as he walked to the door to check on his sister.
"k , bye" she said as she started walking towards the elevator. She started humming a children's lullaby as she rode and winked at him.
"She's weird..." he mumbled. It was less than a few minutes when Jamie was sent to a room .
For a few hours , They weren't allowed to see their newborn. Until suddenly they said that the child was dead. Jamie was devastated , Max tried his best to comfort her but it didn't work. He went out of the room to leave her alone for some time. As he was getting a snack from the vending machine on the lower floor , He heard a few nurses talking about a baby freak they told her parents that she was dead, they said she was going to die anyway. He knew it was his neice . He walked towards them and asked about the child.
"umm... we told you sir." one of them said nervously "she's ready I'm sorry"
"Get me the child" he said , Not having her daughter broke his sister and he wasn't going to let them kill a baby. He was angry , And unwillingly his powers started to kick in. "Now".
"sir .... please " she said but she was tied in his black goo . Everyone was shocked and he was too pissed to care if anyone sees him. He wasn't going to let them take his child.
" I'm not repeating myself!!" he yelled , the security guards tried to tackle him but he stuck them to the wall. He was pissed , Everyone was either running or stuck. Ella was right , their lives meant nothing to normal people , they were lab rats , monsters that deserved to die...
"I'm afraid you have to stop this young man " He heard. He was about to attack but the person dodged. She was an old woman , about 60s or 70s , blue eyes and short blonde hair. She looked stern and angry , her glare seemed similar.
" Get me my child and I will!" he yelled.
"get her" she said to one of the doctors who had the courage to get out , he nodded and rushed out.
" I have her granny " Ella rushed with the baby in her arms , It would be a miracle if the child didn't have her neck Brocken. Ella smiled and winked as she gave her to Max. "There ya go"
The child was crying loudly as he tried to calm her down. His goo started to melt as he finally calmed down , he was still making sure no one got closer , but made sure he freed Everyone.
" Now , would you please come quietly with us? " Said the woman , He held tightly to the baby as man in tuxedos started walking to him.
"Granny." Said Anthonie who was watching for a while. " I don't think it's necessary "
"Yeah , I'll pay for the damage " Ella said. He was confused , wasn't he going to be taken down like all the others. The men looked at the woman who nodded , the backed away as she walked towards him.
" who are you?" he asked
" A friend " The woman said as she started walking away , Anthonie glared at him as he followed , And Ella winked. " Now go back to your sister , we'll take care of everything. "
He nodded and did as he told , Jamie burst into tears seeing her daughter , he told her they mixed up the names. He wore a wide smile until they were escorted out , he could feel everyone's state at him. He knew they were afraid , but it was their fault , They wanted to kill a helpless baby. Now , he was sure Ella was right... They only want them dead .
