Chapter 58: Chapter 58: She Loves Me? She Loves Me Not?

"Um... what just happened..." I stood there dumbfounded as Fatima ran off into the distance. I looked at Diana with my jaw open at what had just happened. Making her chuckle and pat my shoulder.

"Why are you making that funny face? Did something happen with her or something?" She asks me, placing her hand on her smiley face. Letting out a soft snicker.

"Well... I'm really confused about what just happened at that point... she told me that she wanted to thank me for helping her back then when bullies were attacking her but then when she said that. She suddenly just became flustered and ran off into the distance for some odd reason..." I responded, a bit taken aback by the sudden gesture.

Diana smiled, skittishly playing with her hair as she squinted her eyes and gave me a smirk. I recoiled my head in bemusement. Why is she looking at me like that? Is this normal to look at someone weirdly or with facial expressions for no particular reason? Because I'm getting the feeling that this is a common thing for commoners.

"I'm getting the feeling that the girl over there likes you!" She declared her reasoning, pleading it out loud with me.

"What? Really? What makes you say that she likes me? I mean we've just met and as I said, we aren't exactly that close. Is it even possible to fall in love with someone you just met?" I narrowed my eyes at the idea Diana proposed.

"Oh wow.. so you're just as dense as your brother then? I guess siblings are so similar to one another aren't they?" She giggled. "You can clearly tell that the girl likes you! I mean she was stuttering when talking to you."

"Maybe she's just shy you know? I mean she wasn't exactly the type of person that could stand up to her bullies. Let alone speak her own opinion. So I suppose she's a bit shy hence why she was stuttering and flustered.." I explained it timidly to Diana who still had that smirk look on her face.

"She literally hacked a bunch of irrelevant girls' phones. I doubt she'll just do that for any other friend she sees. I'm no expert in hacking and stuff but I'm pretty sure that would at least take a lot of effort especially since she only just saw it this time." Diana argued back, pressing forth the argument.

"I mean she did mention that she was very thankful about how I helped her... so she did that to repay me," I explained to her, making her grin grow wider.

"OOOH! You just saved her like a knight and shining armor huh? That's so sweet of you. I guess that's why she likes you. I mean usually, people fall in love with you if you treat them right and shit right? At least that's what I know from love anyway." Sungah replied.

"You.. are you sure that she likes me? Like in a romantic way? Cause I mean like, she only invited me to her room and she told me that she wanted to tell me something important but she couldn't tell it here out loud because it was pri-

"OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD!" Diana started to scream loudly, fangirling during my explanation. "SHE DEFINITELY LIKES YOU! ACTUALLY! I think she was just about to confess to you that she loves you but she didn't want to do it out here in public so she's inviting you back to her room to get freaky!" She chuckled, winking at me. Making me feel a bit uneasy.

Is she really right on with this deduction? I mean Fatima is a girl so she should really like boys right? Unless she's a lesbian? I mean that's fine if she is but like I'm not particularly interested in a woman... what am I going to do if I break her heart? Would she hate me?

"Hey, if you're saying that she's going to confess when I come over to her room then can you advice me on how to tell her gently that I'm not into girls?" I asked Diana who was way too entertained by this whole situation.

"I mean if you don't like her just tell her that she isn't your type. I mean that should be plain and simple right?" She brushed her hair with her fingertips, fixing it before looking at me. "Anyway since you're going to her room in the afternoon. Can I please have the keys to your dorm room for a bit?" She smiled, asking me about the keys.. but why though?

"Why do you need them?" I inquired about her motives which she replied with. "Oh, I just want to have fun with Lawry-poo again! I mean after my whole lock picking thing. He might get mad and beat me hard if I did it again! So I'm just going to ask you for the door key this time!"

I crossed my arms, giving her an awkward smile. "I don't particularly think that Lawrence enjoys your company very much, Diana... I mean he's just cursing and screaming whenever he sees you near him. Why on earth would you like to come there?"

"Puhuhuhu. You really don't know your brother well don't you?" She chortled. "I can clearly tell that Lawrence enjoys my company! I mean you know what they say about, "The more you love someone, the more you hate them right?" She laughed at her own joke which isn't funny nor right. I totally doubt that's true but what could I expect from someone as crazy as Diana I suppose.

"Anyways! I should probably go to the debate club. The club leader is probably looking for me and stuff... you know! So see you later! I'll probably go and visit your brother and stuff soon so make sure to foreplay him for me got it?" She lustfully murmured under her breath in a seductive tone.

"Right... bye.." I timidly responded, forcing out a smile as she walked over to the debate club as she said it...

Hm... now I'm going to have to prepare myself to go to Fatima's house later... although a question in my mind still exists.. Does she like me or what..
