I work to the sound of crying from the doorstep. I race too the door to investigate. On my doorstep was a baby pram, pink and frilly. The sound was coming from the basket. The loud shrill cry's of a baby. In the trolley was a baby girl with silver hair, adorned with a jade colored bow, her eyes were too different colors. She was in a jade jumpsuit with Cressieda embroidered in silver thread across the front. On her wrist was a silver charm bracelet with the initials CNM. I picked up the baby and cooed at her snuggling her to my chest.
"Hello little Ida" I say "were did you come from cutie" I say tickling her tiny stomach. In the bottom of her Pram was a piece of wrinkled parchment.
Dear Tennant or 113 Nadine Street,
This is Cresseida.I can no longer care for her. Don't try and find me as I'm gone like the wind. Take care of her as she deserves someone better than me to take watch over her. Love her like your own

"Well hello there Cresseida" I coo, "how about I call you Cresseida Nadine Granger" I ask her opinion. She screeches in delight. I bring the baby into my house dragging the pram along. I bring her to the spare bedroom conjuring up a beautiful nursery set. I turn the carpet a light brown with grey walls. A singular accent wall of pastel flowers and leaves. A white crib was pushed against the accent wall there was a white bedspread with matching pillows. A pink poof sat in front off plush brown recliner. Shelves held books and trinkets hung above. The room was finished with a ball of daisy's to surround the light
I set the baby down. As I leave I add the name Cressieda to the door.
