Chapter 1: Mission To Make Villainess Happy
Chapter 1 (Wish to Come True)
"What is this?", Juli thought while looking around. She saw big pillars and a long hallway. The pillars had intricate carvings and mosaics. It was a building she had never seen before. Everything was like a dream.
She saw downward she was wearing leather sandals with straps. She also saw her exposed knees and arms. She was wearing a comfortable and soft wool knee-length dress covering her shoulders and whole body only leaving her legs and arms.
While she was inquiring about the surroundings, she suddenly realized that she was sitting on the floor on her feet behind the bushes in a squatting position. "Seriously, what the hell is this?", she thought again and sat on the grass on her hips to make herself comfortable. "This is embarrassing", she thought. "But there is nobody around to look at me", she murmured.
In all this amidst, she heard footsteps. She diverted her direction towards the sound. There was a fine young man with beautiful and shining blondes standing. He was wearing a similar dress to hers, but his dress was exposing his chest. He was also wearing a gold wreath with a golden leaf on it.
A girl with stunning beauty and long blonde hair moved toward him. He held her hand and drew her close to him. He hugged her and kissed her forehead. Juli looked downward on her feet and sandals again. She thought she was interrupting their privacy. She wanted to run away from them.
But no matter how much she struggled; she was not able to utter a single sound and lift a single finger. Now she was not even able to shake her head unlike before. She wanted to pinch herself, but everything was in vain. Her face started to turn dark.
She was remembering something she never wanted to remember. She thought, "It's just a dream. I can move myself. Nobody has tied me up. I can do this. I have to do this." Her heart was sinking, and she was desperate to move away from this horrific situation.
When the couple left. She again tried to move herself. She was able to move her body easily this time. But there was a sudden burden on her heart. She started to move aimlessly. While she was wandering around. She saw a lake and moved toward it.
She saw an unrecognizable reflection in the water. It was not her face. It was a young face with beauty like her old self, but that body had blonde hair, unlike her original hair. "What hair color did I have?", she thought and murmured again, "It doesn't matter, and I don't want to live again."
Splash...
She jumped into the water without giving it second thoughts. "It is not the first time. I'm doing this. It was just another experience. Let me sleep forever." She thought while closing her eyes. It was getting darker and darker like last time.
Juli felt an unfamiliar light on her face. When she opened her eyes. She saw the same hallway with the giant pillars, and she was wearing the same dress, and the same blonde guy was standing in the hallway.
She thought, "Not, this dream again." This time she also repeated the same cycle. That girl came again, and she was unable to move from that place. This time she moved in the opposite direction toward a large tower. Maybe that building was there to light the fire to give signals. There was a guard there, but he allowed to enter her. Juli went to the top of the tower and jumped again.
But she was back again to that squatting position behind the bushes of the large hallway. "Is this some kind of prank? If it is, I don't have enough energy to take part in it. I had hardly survived my previous life. Do they want me to live again? Is it a punishment? What did I do wrong to fall into this unknown place?", she wanted to cry but not a single tear came.
"I apologize.", the unfamiliar voice said. Juli moved her head toward the voice. A young girl was standing there. She moved her hand toward Juli. She was offering her hand to help Juli to stand up. But Juli thought, "Can I really move?" Juli moved her hand toward the young, mysterious girl.
She was able to move her body. Juli looked around everything was frozen. The birds were still in the sky and time had stopped. She examined that girl, and she was stunned to see that she was the same girl whose reflection, she saw in the water. "It means, I'm in your body.", Juli asked in a shocked voice.
That girl smiled and took Juli's hand. She said, "I didn't want to do this with you. I sincerely apologize." Juli said, "Why are you apologizing and what is the meaning of this? What did you want to do? How did I get here?"
"Hmmm...Looks like you've got a lot of questions for me. I'll answer all these questions. But ask these questions one by one please." That girl said softly.
Juli asked while looking sad, "A..Am I dead in my world?"
She said, "Yes, your body was dead when I had captured your lost soul by mistake."
Juli looked satisfied, "Okay, so that means there is no way, I'll be able to get back to my original world. Even though when I'm dead here."
She said, "Maybe Yes because your body is already dead there. It is only possible to return if you time travel. But you can't die here."
"What is the meaning of this?", Juli asked. "You are saying that I can't die."
She said, "Yes, you can't die unless you make my wish come true."
