Chapter 67: The Pedagogues

I then realized something.

I could vividly feel the presence of the person to welcome us and hear their voice but I could nt see them at all.

"Undo that already." Wixx said.

I laid on the dying grass and hyper ventilated trying to catch my breath.

The welcoming being undid whatever Sorcery was used to cloud their appearance and a little girl with long white hair and blue eyes stood before us.

"This is a criminal!?"

"Call her what you will." Wixx replied rudely.

I got up to my feet, ending my recuperation session and held the little girls shoulders and asked, "Are you really a criminal?"

There was silence for a brief moment and the little girl continued to speak with Wixx with a huge grin on her face.

"Also, Also, Also." She said cutely, trying to catch her breath after pummelling Wixx with information very quickly and ignoring me.

"Come with me." She said, grabbing onto Wixx's gloved hand and pulling her deeper into the strange opening in the forest.
