Chapter 400: The real reason

" This is your room my prince, also, the lord is wondering if you wish to join him for dinner today " The servant said as she showed Lucius his room.

" Tell the lord it will be my pleasure to join him for dinner " Lucius replied as he entered the guest bedroom in the palace and closed the doors shut. 

Once inside, Lucius frowned deeply, in the race to become the crown prince, he was currently taking every chance that he had to make diplomatic connections. 

According to his information sources, Ravan had no inclinations towards him or Felix, which meant that he could be poached or subdued, however, his talks with the man proved to be extremely difficult. 

Not only was Ravan very measured with his words, he deliberately said things in a way where it could be seen he did not particularly favour Lucius which indicated to the young prince that Ravan might not be inclined to support him.
