Chapter 11: Chapter 10- Blade with a lightning speed(Part 2)
A group of kids are having some fun, but a serious type of fun. "Come and get it!"
"Hey, give me that!"
The kids make fun on a small and helpless kid. The helpless one can't even stand for himself. They push him then laughed at him until a good looking young man approached them, he do nothing but just stare at them in the eyes. They stopped and leave.
He looked at the helpless child who do nothing but cry, witnessing the hardship he's going through.
"Don't let anyone hurt you. If you let them, they won't stop." The young man said then he left.
He wipe away his tears and take a look to the young man walking away.
Rando have Chou as a model to his painting. With an artistic talent, Rando able to paint Chou exactly as how he actually look.
"If the paint will dry, you will see how artistic I am."
"That's how you do your paintings?" Chou asked.
"Yes.. I do it with love, because if you love a certain thing, you're willing to do anything."
Chou lighten up like fire, like he woke up from a bad dream and then looked at Rando.
"That's true Chou, same as how you're eager to do anything for someone you love.. That's how I do my works."
"Really?"
"Yes son.."
Chou become silent after hearing Rando's statement.
"Lets have some walk outside?"
Chou agreed and stand up. They tour around the place, Chou looked around, seeing different people.
As Chou looked around, he notice someone looks familiar to him.
"I'll be back." he pursue the person.
"Hey, Chou wait!"
Chou tries his best to pursue that someone in the midst of the crowd. He lost sight of thee. He keeps on looking and found someone nearby. Same figure as those person.
"Leandra!" He he touch her shoulder.
The maiden turn around, "Hey! Is there's something wrong?"
"I-I'm sorry.. I thought you're the one I'm looking for." Chou walked away.
As Chou is on his way, he saw someone with the same face he saw previously. They looked in each other's eyes while going on their own ways.
"Chou, I've been looking for you everywhere.. Where have you been?" Rando ran unto him.
"Just somewhere. Looking for something."
"Looks like you're in hurry.. what actually is it?"
Chou keep his eye on the young man moving on his way.
"Nothing.. It's not that important."
While the young man is walking, he come across with Ricia, together with Leandra and Nila.
Nila gazed at the young man, like seeing the most beautiful star in sky.
"Nila? Hey! Is there's something wrong?" Leandra asked.
"Wow.. He's so handsome.." Nila said.
"Hello!"
"Ahhh.. What?"
"Looks like you're not on your mind.. Is there's something wrong in those guy?"
"Ahmm.. Nothing.. But didn't you notice that? He's so handsome."
Leandra laughed. "You're to young for that Nila, you must grow up first.."
Ricia laughed after Leandra said that. "Let's go?"
They move on their way to go home.
A trouble happens in the market. A group of men make some trouble. No one dare to stop them as they appeared to be strong and fierce.
"Is anyone of you dares to fight? Just step forward.."
A young man steps forward, showing no sense of fear. The people that was watching started to have a butterfly on their stomach as they looked at the young man. "It's that him?"
"You're right.. It's him."
"There will be blood bath for sure.." Whispers from the people around can be heard.
"Please.. Don't shed any blood here in this market.." One old merchat begged.
"Silence you old fool!" One of the men struck the old man.
The young man was like a peaceful river that never flows, just observing what they're doing.
"You? Don't waste our time! Go home to your parents kid!"
"Hmm.." He simply smile in slight.
"Do you want to get hurt?"
Chou and Rando notice some people in panic and talking about what's happening nearby.
"My god.."
"Let's take a look.."
"No Chou, I don't like violence and I don't want to see any kind of it.." Rando said, "Please let's go home safe.
"You go home, I'll take a look.."
"But Chou!"
"Don't worry about me.. I can take care of myself."
"Ok.. Take care.."
Rando ran away and Chou go to the place where the trouble is happening.
"You all appeared to be strong, but you show how weak all of you." The man said in a calm voice.
"How dare you to say that!"
"Well, I challenged you all!"
The crowd was so terrified after hearing what the young man said.
"But not here. We're in the wrong place. We must go outside of town."
"You're to young to lie on the deathbed, but you choose your own fate."
Chou arrived and was shocked to see the young man once again. Chou heard the people talking about the young man's identity.
Out of curiousity, Chou asked. "Who is that guy?"
"He's a dangerous guy, anyone who knows him are afraid of him. He's name is Gusion."
"Gusion?"
"Yes.. He's Gusion.. Beware of him."
Gusion noticed Chou, he looked at him in the eye. Chou's heart beats a little bit fast, but he has a warrior spirit in him and ready for everything.
"What are we waiting for? I'm excited, let's go outside the town."
They proceed to the place, the crowd follow to witness the fight between Gusion and the group of men. Chou was among the crowd.
"Before we start, we'll give you a chance to say your last words. Any last words?"
Gusion answered so calm, "That must be the question I'll ask you."
"Well, prepare to die!"
They attacked together. Gusion just simple standing infront of them wielding his dagger. As they strike, Gusion moves like wind and moved to the opposite direction, like a blink of the eye, he changed his direction.
As Gusion stands straight, he wield his dagger and it was filled with blood. His enemies fall down, but he spare one to bring him nightmare before finishing him.
"Now, I asked you a question. Any last words?"
Chou was watching and he was shocked. As he saw the man begging for mercy, he remember the time in Eruditio when he walk together with Leandra.
"We can have order without chaos. We can even have peace without any bloodshed.." Leandra said.
"But how?" Chou asked.
"Every life is precious, why we need to take it away from someone?"
The man begged Gusion for mercy and asked to spare his life. He even pour out one river of tears to the ground infront of the ruthless Gusion.
"Please.. Have mercy on me.. I'm just forced to follow Morrocio for my sick child."
"But every choice has a consequence. Some even cost you your own life.."
Gusion, have his dagger ready to shed the ground with blood, but someone grab his hand.
"You!"
"Don't do it."
Chou grab Gusion's hand and stop him.
"You may leave now! Go have your new life." Chou said.
"Thank you.. I owe you this new life.." The man ran away.
"Why did you do that?" Gusion asked.
"Everyone deserve for another chance, you don't need to take their life away from them!"
Gusion break Chou's grip and attacked him. Chou able to dodge every slashes from Gusion.
"How dare you to stop me?"
"I need to! What you're doing is not right."
Gusion wield his dagger and Chou also prepare his fists for the fight. They rushed on each other and start to fight. People that was watching amazed and surprised as Chou performing his fighting skills.
Leandra fall in a deep sleep. While she's sleeping, she dream about Chou. In Leandra's dream, a blood shed on the ground, and it was Chou's blood. He falls on the ground in a bloodbath.
"No!!" Leandra woke up from a bad dream and a rain of tears flow from her eyes.
"Leandra? What happened?" Nila asked.
"I think you're having a bad dream my dear.." Ricia added.
The fight goes on. Gusion and Chou shows great skill that can able to match each other, but there's something Chou have no idea about.
Chou hit Gusion in the stomach, it's quite hurt.
Gusion simply grin. "Impressive, You're unique among all my previous opponents. But let me show you my skill."
Gusion throw a dagger but Chou dodge quickly. Gusion throw five daggers but still Chou evades.
"Break the limits!" Gusion blinks, throw another five daggers again.
Chou evades all Gusion's series attacks. "Is that what you're talking about?"
Gusion smiled, looked in a specific direction. Chou notice that Gusion looks somewhere behind him..
"Surprise!"
A floating dagger is ready to attack. Chou turns around, and saw the daggers, he try to evade but got hit. Chou falls on the ground badly wounded.
"You don't know me yet. Next time, not only that will happen to you.."
Gusion recall the daggers and put them back on their place that was placed in his side.
Gusion left the wounded Chou.
