Never did Zeirenne imagine... that words can make her entire world stop. Upon hearing Jin say those five words, her throat dried up, while her stomach churned. There was something in her that wanted to break free, and force her head into nodding. A part of her wanted to give permission... but another one snapped her into reality.

"No," she said while staring at Jin's soul.

He felt a little bit disappointed, but it was something he expected. For so many years, he admired Zeirenne for everything she was. From her values to her beliefs, down to her craziest quirks--he admired everything. This branched into different emotions--but most importantly--respect. He respected every decision, every rule she had for herself. So disappointing himself over one of her life values no longer frustrated him. He planned on being a martyr the moment he realized how he felt toward Zeirenne. She was the boss, and that was the rule.
