Chapter 17: Celebrating Haleys birthday
Today is the 10th of December 2007. Haley's birthday is today. I have already planned the whole day out.
First I knocked on the door as Phil still didn't fix the doorbell. Claire opened the door and we prepare to bake her favorite strawberry cake. I and Claire cooked for 3 hours since, 6:30 am. We had plenty of time as Haley usually wakes up at 10 am for special days like these.
After we have finished her cake, I woke her up. After that I led her downstairs to her cake, which she ate. At around 1 pm she will unpack our presents. One thing I need to mention is that her relatives like Mitch and Cam will only come at a later date. They will make a special celebration for that day. After Haley unpacked her family's presents, I took her out to a small hiking tour. After we have traveled around 2 kilometres we came to our place. It is a beautiful flower bed with various flowers and a bench on which you could sit and view everything perfectly.
On the bench, I gave her my present. It was a new professional camera. She mentioned to me, that she would like to photograph someday. Under the camera was a present I made myself. It was an armring with our initials.
After seeing this she hugged and kissed me.
Afterward, she began photographing me on the flower bed. I also made pictures of her at her request.
When we were back at the starting point, I pointed at a special Maybach, which would drive us to a cinema that I completely rented out.
We watched the new movie, "Watching the Detectives" it was a romantic comedy. She said she would like to watch the movie with me together sometime.
After the movie, we drove back home.
And Claires biggest present was, that I was able to sleep in Haleys and Alexs room, but only with a few conditions like, Alex watching me constantly, me sleeping on the floor, Claire will look into the room every few minutes. Typical Claire's behavior or even very generous behavior for her standards.
Like that, we slept in the same room for the first time.
