Next Day
In the school, Alex said to Logan who was eating his lunch," I have something really important to ask you."
Logan nodded and said," Go ahead,"
Alex asked with hesitation," Can you arrange passes for Taylor Swift's concert which is going to happen here in Los Angeles?"
Logan looked up from his food and said," If you wanted to go there you could've just said that you want to, I will never disagree"
Alex said with a exhale," Uh they are not for us, They are for Hailey and her friends."
Logan frowned and asked," Why?"
Alex said," Because..." she told him everything about what happened except the dating tips (of course) and Logan was surprised to hear the story.
Logan nodded and said," I never saw her talking to you nicely, so why are you doing all this for her?"
Alex shrugged and said," Maybe this time she is also trying to use me but we are still sisters."
Logan nodded," well you know what's the biggest problem of our generation is?"
Alex asked," what?"
Logan replied with a smile," They run after beautiful faces and ignore beautiful hearts."
Alex was impressed and said," Maybe you. didn't do that mistake then."
Logan said," I never take any wrong decisions in my life I will tell someone to arrange them for you."
Alex nodded and Logan left for something urgent, on the way he muttered," Looks like she also wants to go so why don't we go, I will just tell Alfred to manage my schedule."
Logan made plans for the concert while Alex was happy that Logan said yes and didn't misunderstand her. while she was happy Hailey with her friends come to her table and said," Hey Alex, how are you doing?"
Alex said with a smile," I am good, how are you here today?"
Hailey said with surprise," Oh, I was just here to introduce some of my friends to you as they were wondering, what type of girls Logan likes?"
Alex was surprised but then Hailey winked at her and Alex smiled and said hi to everyone. soon all of them started chatting together and Hailey was surprised to see Alex's confidence while talking to her friends.
Hailey thought,' So he did have a positive effect on her huh!"
Soon the lunch break was over and everyone went to take their classes. when Alex and Logan were sitting in their class Alex said," Oh my mom and dad are throwing a birthday party for Luke's birthday this weekend and you will have to come."
Logan replied with a sigh," I will only be able to attend the party for 10 minutes because of how much work I have."
Alex frowned and asked," what happened now are you going to launch self-changing clothes?"
Logan shook his head and said," we will but not right now, as for now, we are going to make an arms deal with India and the government doesn't like it because they think we will fuel the situation of a war brewing between their neighbouring countries."
Alex nodded and shrugged while saying," These types of matters are out of my reach and I can't say anything about this."
Logan didn't reply and just looked toward the teacher who was just babbling about the history and just sighed. He picked up his bag and walked out of the classroom.
Alex saw him leave but didn't say anything to stop him but she also left with him and the teacher just looked at both of them but ignored them because she knew both were already ahead of their peers in every way.
Alex run behind Logan and stopped him and asked," What happened why did you leave like that?"
Logan replied and said," Her lectures are just boring and what will I gain after knowing how someone found a continent which was this big and already existed with people living in it."
Alex again asked," Then why did you choose History?"
Logan replied," Because I thought that it will help me find some ideas for new tech but I was wrong because they won't teach you about 2000year old carvings of bicycles or astronauts but this shit."
(An:/ By the way it's true that people found these types of carvings or paintings on old temples, I just don't know how old are they.)
Logan sit in his car and opened another door for Alex who just sat in the car in silence and didn't say anything while Logan was driving towards her home.
On the way, Logan asked," What should I buy as his birthday present?"
Alex replied without looking at him," Nothing too fancy and useful for his life"
Logan thinks for a moment and asked," Which one is better Life Insurance or Health Insurance?"
Alex turned toward him with surprise and just looked at him like she is looking at the biggest idiot on earth.
