Yami walked out of the Gold exchange with Nami, Usopp, and Luffy. Yachiru was in his scarf as usual, Nami insisted on taking as least 2 cases with her, though Usopp and Luffy carried them. Yami took the rest and put them in his earring before saying that he was going to drop them off at the ship before going exploring.
Nami waved, completely ignoring him as she remember the stacks and stack of money they had. Yami shook his head and left with Yachiru, going to the Merry. Yachiru smiled as they dropped off the money in the storage room of the Merry, it was the Crew's money not his so, he wasn't keeping it on him.
Yachiru jumped out and grew back to normal before hugging his arm and saying excitedly "Let's go on a date, Love!" Yami smiled and said "Alright." they walked away from the ship and said goodbye to Zoro, telling him about the money on the ship.
Zoro said he would keep watch as he practiced his Breathing method and trained at the same time. Yami and Yachiru went back into town and rented a Water Bull boat, it was a creature that was called a Yagara.
They got on the Boat and the Yagara pulled them forward through the town, Yachiru hugged Yami's arm and leaned her head on his shoulder, looking at everything and smiling happily. Yami smiled and said "So beautiful." Yachiru smiled saying "It's really is." Yami replied "I'm not talking about the town." Yachiru looked at him and blushed, saying softly "Cheeseball..." but she smiled happily, Yami smiled and kissed her lips.
She closed her eyes and smiled, Yami pulled away and looked into her eye with a gentle and loving expression, Yachiru smiled at him and said "I love you." Yami smiled and said "I love you too, Ruru." she smiled and hugged his arm tight as they were brought around the city.
They got off and walked around, Yachiru held Yami's hand as they walked by stores and shops. Yami bought some Water Water Meat for the two of them. Yachiru bit into it and said "Waaaah! So good!" Yami smiled and held her hand, eating the meat. He bought out the owner's entire stock and left with a bag full which was put into his backpack.
They walked around on the streets and Yachiru held his arm, saying "Yami?" Yami replied "Yes, Ruru?" she smiled sweetly and said "I'm so happy I met you." Yami paused for a moment and sniffed, replying "Me too." she smiled and hugged his arm tight, adding "Promise to stay with me forever?"
He could feel her trembling arms, he smiled and patted her arm, she looked at him and he pulled his scarf down, showing his gentle smile as he said "I promise." she teared up and he wiped her tears away, adding "Forever and always." she hugged him and cried on his shoulder, while he held her and kissed her head, rubbing her back with a soft smile.
She kissed him and the people around covered their mouths and smiled, before walking away with happy expressions. Seeing 2 kids in love made people happy, not everyone obviously, but good feels radiate to others.
Yami smiled and said "Let's continued our date." she smiled sweetly and nodded "En!" before they walked away, their moods better than normal. The duo continued walking around the city until the sun started to set, they walked back and Yami brought out the bag of Water Water Meat.
Yachiru smiled and they walked on board to see Usopp storm out with Chopper and Nami chasing after him. Yami offered him a Water Water Meat and Usopp paused, he took the meat and said "Thanks, Yami." before walking off.
Yami was confused and looked at the other two, Yachiru frowned and Yami gave meat to Nami and Chopper before walking into the galley. Sanji shouted "Why didn't you go after him!?" Luffy stayed silent and Zoro said "Leave 'im. If he wants to go, he can go. There's nobody keeping him here."
Sanji shouted angrily "That's our friend, you bastard!" before storming past Yami, taking the meat in his face and eating it angrily. Yami looked at Zoro and Luffy in confusion, he gave Zoro a piece and then gave the bag to Luffy.
Yachiru asked "What did we miss?" Zoro rubbed his face and said "Usopp left the crew." Yami and Yachiru we're honestly shocked, Yami said "What? Why? Because of Aokiji? We'll get him next time, he doesn't have to be so scared..." Zoro shook his head and said "No, because we're getting a new ship. Usopp doesn't think we should but..."
Luffy stood up and held the bag in his hands, not eating any meat right now, as he said "The Merry can't be repaired. If he can't understand that, then maybe..." he clenched his fists and added "Maybe it's better he leaves." Yami sat down at the table and Yachiru sank into Yami's scarf silently, this was a big thing!
Luffy left the room and went outside, Yami looked at Zoro and said "There must be something else? What did I miss?" Zoro explained that Usopp was kidnapped and lost the money, he went to fight back but got beat up, the crew went to avenge him and beat the shit out of everyone but Usopp blamed himself and then Luffy and Usopp started arguing about the Merry.
Yami mumbled "So without training he still got beat up..." Zoro said "When we found him he was battered and bruised only his nose was broken, his bones were fine. Just flesh wounds." Yami nodded and hummed to himself, they all heard a shout "TONIGHT AT 10 PM! WE'RE GOING TO HAVE A DUEL! WHOEVER WINS GETS TO KEEP THE MERRY! MONKEY D. LUFFY!"
Yami and Zoro frowned, Yachiru hid in the scarf and they walked outside to see Usopp leaving and Luffy staring at him go. Yami commented "That was a bit far... If the ship is unable to be repaired..." he just sighed and shook his head. Zoro stayed silent and Nami cried, Yachiru spoke up "What are we going to do, Luffy?"
Luffy was silent for a few moments before saying "Wait." Sanji said "After waiting?" Luffy closed his eyes and said "Fight." Chopper said "You can't! Even with none of his bones broken, he's still heavily wounded!" Luffy said "You heard him. It's a duel. I have to fight." before turning around and walking away.
He put the bag in Yami's hands and said "Thanks, Yami... But I'm not in the mood." Yami just nodded and said "I'll keep 'em for you." Luffy smiled slightly before walking away. Yami sent the Bag into his backpack and sat on the railing, looking out and holding Crimson on his lap.
He said "What do you think?" Crimson buzzed and Yami said "Yeah... Me too." he sighed and waited with the rest for Usopp to show up again.
