Chapter 136: Behind closed doors

Kaoma was still reeling in shock from what his father did to his mother, that his father would even think to separate a mother from her beloved child.

Then the irony of the situation hit her Maxixe had also threatened to separate her from baby Jax.

It made her wonder if the sins of the father were passed down through the generations to the son.

Now she wholeheartedly agreed with what Maxixe had said in a previous conversation.

It really was up to the both of them as parents to raise Jax in the proper way so that he would never have to go through the tragic circumstances that they had in their past. 

She imagined her kind hearted baby boy turning miserable and unfeeling and she shuddered, over her dead body, she thought. 

Now more than ever she had no yearning to meet Maxixe's father or any of his step siblings, not after the horrible way they treated him growing up.
