Chapter 1: Chapter 1 : Buttermilk Bob
Buttermilk Bob, a DC fanboy in his previous life who died after his massive collection of DC memorabilia fell on him during one of his routine maintenance checks, woke up and found himself in the random body of a homeless young man living in Metropolis. Although initially excited upon recognizing the famous daily planet building in front of him, his hopes and dreams of meeting his heroes were shattered upon grabbing the nearest discarded newspaper off the ground and reading the headline "Is Ultra Man losing his grip?" Buttermilk Bob's heart sank as he quickly flipped through the pages covering various sightings of an Owl Man and a glowing Green Knight.
He was not in the mainline DC universe but the Crime Syndicate Universe! Buttermilk Bob wandered the dirty and crime ridden streets of Metropolis quietly observing as one of the many ignored homeless in the city. When he looked at his new appearance on a car mirror he was surprised.
Buttermilk Bob was not the best looking guy or the sharpest or the healthiest in his past life. He had spent his whole life addicted to DC, spending all his money on DC merchandise from his wage slave job at McDonalds instead of planning for retirement or investing in savings. Buttermilk Bob had no family, friends or lover to return to so he had no reason to go back to his old world or feel any real lasting regret about his death. If he had just one regret it would be no longer being able to hoard and maintain his precious DC collection.
So the face that stared back at Buttermilk Bob from the mirror was very shocking to him, the complete opposite of his old face. It was the face of a near perfect handsome and healthy young man who was maybe 20 years old. Although obviously dirty from being homeless, Buttermilk Bob could easily pass off as a supermodel now with a shower and a decent haircut. Buttermilk Bob was an insecure person so despite his bleak situation this made him very happy and gave him great confidence in himself.
It went without saying Buttermilk Bob was a virgin but with this face and body he laughed thinking of the endless possibilities. His lewd day dreaming was abruptly ended when a loud crash exploded right in front of him.
Something or someone had just been violently hurled into the car he was just checking himself out with. Dazed and confused Buttermilk Bob looked over and yelped while jumping back in surprise, realizing who it was, he unintentionally yelled her name.
Buttermilk Bob : "DIANA!?"
It was Wonder Woman's crazy counterpart Super Woman.
