Chapter 127: Separate Rooms

Rhett's face was devoid of any emotion as the word Genevieve said resounded in his mind again and again.

He wondered what she meant by that and even though she was still standing before him he couldn't ask her what he really meant to her.

"You won't tell me what to do Rhett. I had my own life before you married me and you telling me what to do is absurd and leaving people close to me is a big no." She told him.

She wouldn't always do as he says, fine she was bought by him but that doesn't give him the right to control her life or want to control it.

"If that is all I'm heading to the bedroom." She took the flights of stairs quickly and was in her room.

She often wondered why they were both sharing a room when they were not in love with each other. They only married because of her father but yet he's insisting on them sleeping in the same room and on the same bed.
