"Send someone tomorrow to pack my things. I immediately want to shift there," he said as he gulped down another mouthful of coffee, his eyes still fixed on the view outside.
"Okay Mr. Luo, I will send someone to you tomorrow," his secretary replied. "Anything else you need me to do?"
"No," he simply replied and ended the call.
Luo Yuan walked away from the window and took some steps towards his nightstand where he placed his coffee mug and his phone.
After placing them on his table he walked into his closet. His clothes were neatly pressed and hung on the wooden hangers, all of them were brand new. He took a maroon tuxedo out of the hangar and moved towards the drawer that was filled with his watches. And took a silver Rolex watch. After taking his shoes he left his wardrobe.
He took shower and dressed in his outfit. And stood in front of the mirror and fixed his tie. He adjusted his cufflinks before fixing his cuffs once again. His looks were flawless, and his tall and muscular figure stood perfectly straight. The sharp jawline of his face could rival any sculptor.
He took his car keys, wallet, and his phone. Once he was ready he made his way downstairs. There he opened his car door and got into it. He was never a fan of getting a driver to drive a car. He likes to drive on his own. His mother always begged him to get a driver but he never paid any attention to her.
...
Li Xia opened the door of her apartment with the keys that were in her hand. She walked in and immediately headed towards her bedroom because she had to get ready for an event. She spent all day shooting, so she was exhausted and tired. She slipped off her shoes and threw her purse onto the floor.
Her apartment was already a lot messy. Clothes and bags were thrown all over her bedroom. Her vanity was also messy with lipstick, brushes, powder, mascara, and foundations.
But she doesn't care because it was all part of her daily routine. Whenever she had shoot her apartment would be in complete chaos. After walking into the room she went straight into her closet to choose her dress. She went through her clothes collection, grabbed some of her dresses, and threw them on the bed to choose.
"What should I wear today?" she pouted as she held two dresses up and inspected them closely.
After thinking for a few moments she then pulled out a white gown with off-shoulder sleeves, and went inside the bathroom to get changed. After changing her dress she stood in front of the mirror and did her makeup. She applied some red lipstick and put on her lenses because her eyesight was weak.
She straightened her long hair that cascaded around her shoulders. She wore silver earrings in her earlobes and a ring on her index finger. The gown fitted her body very tight and showed off her curves. She had worn heels to complete her look. She took one last look in the mirror.
"Perfect!" she muttered with a smile and winked at herself in the mirror before taking her phone and her clutch. She left her apartment after locking the door with her key and left her apartment.
She took a cab to reach her destination. After 15 minutes she arrived at the venue. She entered the hall of the main entrance and looked around. The hall was filled with people including some famous businessmen, actresses, and beauty bloggers who were attending the party.
People were mingling together, chatting and laughing. There was music playing loudly which was accompanied by chatter. It looked like the whole place was decorated and looked very elegant and beautiful.
She walked around the hall looking at the people. She took a glass of champagne from one of the trays that were in the hand of one of the waitresses.
She drank the champagne slowly and enjoyed the feeling of the champagne flowing smoothly in her veins. She took another sip and noticed a man in his thirties approaching her. He was none other than Mr. Fang who was the host of this event. She straightened herself and put on her best smile.
"Good evening, Miss Li Xia," he extended his hand towards her, which she accepted gladly.
"Good evening, Mr. Fang," she greeted him with a bright smile.
"I thought you would not attend this event," he continued. "As there are rumors that Miss Li Xia never attends events and parties."
He was right that she never attends events or parties. Xiao Xian was the only one who attended most of the events because he was her manager and second she felt uncomfortable.
"It would be a shame if I hadn't attended this beautiful event conducted by you, Mr. Fang," she replied sweetly smiling while gazing into his dark brown eyes. Mr. Fang chuckled and took back his hand.
"Rumors also say that you are more beautiful in person Miss Li Xia," he complimented in his charming tone.
"You flatter me, Mr. Fang," she replied while looking into his deep brown eyes. He smiled at her again and clinked his glass of champagne with her. After the toast, both of them sipped their champagne.
"Then I will see you around," Mr. Fang said and walked away.
Li Xia smiled widely after watching him walk away. She was now getting tired from all this. She placed the empty glass on the table and took another one.
As she was taking her glass of champagne she heard some noise from behind her. Turning her head she realized it was her Mei Lin with her two minions venting their frustration on one of the waitresses. The waitress seemed to have spilled some wine on her dress.
Hi Lovelies!
This story is inspired by all the beauty dramas I have seen. Believe me there is more to come at the end. But for now read, leave reviews, comments, add in your library.
