Chapter 39: Kylie’s Plan
Early in the morning, Kylie looked neat, but not quite as usual.
If she usually wears a suit with a skirt or a knee-length dress, now she only wears jeans with a casual blouse with a navy cardigan attached to her slim body.
The father, who was already in the dining room, looked confused by the appearance of Kylie, who was too relaxed according to him.
Isn't her daughter a lawyer? Then why wear clothes like that?

"You don't go to work?" Evan asked Kylie, who looked relaxed sitting on the bench opposite him.
Kylie nodded her head slowly and said that she was taking two days off.
"Suddenly? You don't usually like this?" said Evan, frowning in confusion.
Honestly, he remembered that his daughter was earnest about her planner, and if she wanted to apply for a leave of absence or something, she usually had to tell him first because it was well planned. But now, there seems to be something strange about his daughter.
"A little, but I thought about it a while ago," Kylie said.
A soft sigh escaped Evan's lips.
"Is there something bothering you?" Evan asked again, a little worried about his daughter.
A beautiful smile she gave Evan, accompanied by a small head shake.
Inevitably Evan couldn't bring it back, nor forced her to talk to himself about the problem his daughter was thinking about.
"All right, then have a nice day today. If there is something and you need me, you can contact Dad as usual," Evan said at last.
The girl nodded her head in agreement with Evan's words.

"Jeez, Jen, can't you not startled me?" said Rose shaking her head while turning her eyes lazily in response to her daughter's behavior.
Jenni casually just chuckled softly in response to Rose's words.
"So why did you call Mom all of a sudden?" asked Rose as she handed a plate of food to Jenni.
Jenni just shrugged her shoulders softly and smiled at Rose.
She also doesn't know why this morning is lighter than before. For that, she just teased Rose a little.
Maybe this time, Jenni felt that her day was getting lighter because the burden that had been hanging on her shoulders now seemed to be blowing slowly from her dependents. After all, she had shared her burden with her best friend. There was nothing more hidden that she didn't tell Edward. The one and the only friend she trusts.
"Eat," said Rose finally, gently ruffling Jenni's hair.
Deep inside, Rose felt happy, staring at Jenni's face, which looked more cheerful.
'Looks like Daniel is really good for you,' Rose whispered in her mind as she looked at her daughter, who occasionally smiled her smile.

Kylie, who had finished with breakfast, seemed to get up from her seat after Evan said goodbye to her and immediately left for the office.
With steady steps, accompanied by Kylie's little buggy walking towards her room to get her small bag, and also her cellphone that she left in her room.
