Chapter 4: Chapter 4

The next morning at Xiu Ying and Li Na's apartment, it is currently 9:30 AM and the girls are preparing for their 10:15 classes. They get ready, eat breakfast and are on their way to class. On the way, Li Na suggests something "Yang'er we should get a car. It gets stressful to walk every day." If one thought about it, walking everyday would not always be good, and it could rain on somedays. Besides, their house has some space for the car. Xiu Ying goes into deep thought and eventually agrees with her friend. "We will go after classes today. Come on let's be quicker. It's almost 10 o'clock. They get to the university and by the time they get there it is 10:05. "See you later NaNa. My class is over there." Li Na nodded and went her way.

When Xiu Ying entered, she was amazed by how it looked. It could contain more than 100 people, and the furniture looked so comfortable. She went ahead to get a seat, not too far and not too close from the front. She bought out her phone and was scrolling through recent news. As she scrolled, she saw a picture of a man. The man looked familiar and she realized that she was looking at Mr. Zhang. In the news, it read [ Zhang Corp. Remains Number One in The Industry]. Out of curiosity, she tapped the headline and was scrolling through it until she felt someone sit beside her.

The lady was plump and had a cheerful face. She brought her hand forward "Hello my name is Xi Xing; taking major in Computer Science." She looked ay Xiu Ying expectantly, and Xiu Ying smiled back at her "Hi my name is Wang Xiu Ying. Also major in Computer Science. Nice to meet you." Xi Xing smiled at her and turned back to her seat. Xiu Ying then continued reading the news, and after some time the teacher came into the class. She was a woman who looked very stern, and she looked over the class.

"My name is Mrs. Shen and I will be teaching Computer Programming this semester. I do not take nonsense and if you think about slacking off, I guarantee you will fail this class.

She looked at the students for a few more seconds then dived straight into teaching. The class lasted two hours and by the time they were done, it was 12:20. Xiu Ying packed her books and left her class to look for Li Na. On her way, she was stopped by Xi Xing. "Hi Xiu Ying, where are you going? Can I come with you?" Xiu Ying turns to look at Xi Xing's smiling face. "I am going to look for my friend, then we are going to get something to eat. Do you want to come?" She nodded and they went ahead. Xiu Ying Saw her friend, but she saw someone else taking to her. he was wearing casualwear, and was talking to Li Na. It seemed like they were really into the conversation until Li Na spotted Xiu Ying.

She waved her hand "Yang'er over here." Xiu Ying gets to her friend and Li Na holds unto her elbow and introduces the man "This is Lu Yifeng. We met in the class. He was just asking about you." Xiu Ying looked confusedly at her friend and then turned her head back to the man. The man looked at her with a look that made her uncomfortable. She turned back to her friend not minding his gaze and turned to Xi Xing "This is Xi Xing. We also met in our class. She is a Computer Science major like us Nana. Li Yifeng finally spoke up. "I am surprised. I though you were studying something like Women, and Gender Studies" He laughed like it was funny.

Xiu Ying looked at him and sneered, grabbed her friend, and whispered to her "What the hell is his problem?" Li Na just smiled apologetically and looked back at Yifeng. Xiu Ying looked at Yifeng "Women can also study other things you know?" Yifeng just smiled and said nothing else. As Xiu Ying was about to continue, Li Na interrupted her and invited everyone for lunch.

Xiu Ying looked at Li Na as if reprimanding her for not speaking her mind. She agreed nonetheless, bid goodbye to Xi Xing, and they all made their way to a restaurant to eat. Thankfully, Lu Yifeng said nothing to offend anyone, and the restaurant was comfortable, so everyone enjoyed their food.

After lunch, everyone had to go for afternoon classes, which Xiu Ying unfortunately had with Lu Yifeng. The latter had tried to make conversations with her, but she had ignored him telling him that she was trying to concentrate. Yifeng then stopped and did not make more talk with her. After classes ended, Xiu Ying immediately left and went to look for Li Na. She couldn't find her, so she had to go home. "I guess NaNa forgot that we were buying a car today. I will ask her when she gets home." She thought.

Meanwhile Li Na met with Lu Yifeng. They were in a coffee shop and it looked like Li Na was angry. Lu Yifeng looked at her smugly and repeated "I do not think you want to meet Mr. Zhang anymore." Li Na looked at him with anger. "I told you I liked Mr. Zhang in class today because you were hitting on me and I was just telling you I liked someone already." Yifeng looked at her and smiled "my family, the Lu family does business with the Zhang family, so I see him from time to time. It just also turns out that his family is looking for a girl for him."

Li Na looked at him with expectant eyes "Could you introduce me to him?" Li Na looked at Yifeng as if expecting him to already say yes. He already was hitting on her, so he had to say yes. Yifeng responded 'I can but on one condition. I want Xiu Ying to be mine." Li Na looked at him in disdain. He was just flirting with her earlier today and now he wants his friend. "Why are we involving her in this? I thought you liked me." Yifeng shrugged "I did but Xiu Ying is also pretty and has a nice body." He said remembering when they were together in class. Li Na looked at him "No." Yifeng shrugged "suit yourself. Just know that this is the last chance for you to meet him, I am the only link you have." He stood up and was about to leave.

"Wait" Li Na screamed. She then thought about it. She will not tell Li Na and just leave them together alone. Lu Yifeng was not bad looking so it was possible, and besides when she gets together with Zhang Wei, she would tell her all the bad things about him and make her break up with him. She smiled as she remembered Zhang Wei's face. "It's a deal. I will get Xiu Ying to like you." "Oh, I know she might like me already. After all, who doesn't?" Yifeng said smiling. Li Na disdainfully looked at him but nodded anyway. Then was the start of a catastrophic cooperation.
