A sickening silence filled the ever expanding void as a ghostly figure of a young man floated all alone, flickering in and out of existence.

As the figure tried to remember the last thing that happened to himself all of it began flooding back into his mind as a sad frown began forming on his ghostly face.

Upon hearing the old man's claim, Soren couldn't help but look on with suspicion as he began to question the old man's words.

After resigning himself to his fate and deciding to trust the old man before him, Soren decided to ask some questions before he faces whatever is to come next.

Seeing the confusion in Soren's eyes, the old man began to smile as he decided to enlighten the young man in hopes of sharing his bizarre sense of humor.

With a snap of his fingers, a cloud of smoke began to swirl in the void as it parted to reveal the sight of a group of four men surrounding a car that had a giant piece of building debris cratered into the roof as a small pool of blood began to puddle as it leaked out from the driver seat onto the dirt ground.

The old man could see the embarrassment and frustration on Soren's face as he tried to explain the situation, but the old man decided to cut him off and get the reason for him being here out of the way.

Upon seeing the gentle expression on the old man's face, Soren felt as if a weight had been lifted from his shoulders, but it all sounded a bit suspicious as he began to question the logic of it all.

Soren felt as if his life was a little lacking, so getting such a deal felt almost unearned, but the old man's next words made him deflate his previously inflated pride.

Soren felt that all of this was just done out of pity, and in a way he was right, but the second half of the old man's words caught him off guard, yeah he was sheltered, that's why he was even out at a construction site to touch himself rather than do it at home with the chance his parents find out, but he was now confused as his actions contradict the old man's words.

After hearing the basic rules, Soren began to think about all the possibilities, but too many ideas came to mind. He wanted all of it, but he knew he couldn't have them all, so another idea came to mind.
[Okay! So can I save any wishes for use after I get reincarnated? Like if I want something later down the line?]: soren
After hearing Soren's request, the old man began to scratch his chin in wonder before he gave Soren a slight smile as he nodded his head approvingly.
[As an apology for laughing at your death, I will allow you to use your wishes at a later time if you so like, but you will need to find a church so you can speak with me to use the wish]: god
Upon hearing the approval, Soren's smile became a thick grin as he quickly stated his first wish.
[Okay then! My first wish is to have an OP Anime System that lets me go into any Anime, Novel, Movie, or TV world that I want to, and I want it connected to a divine guide that will help me choose the best path to become stronger quickly]: soren
Hearing the wish, the old man had a twinkle in his eye as he began to look forward to what was to come from the young man before him.
[Okay done… Also, because this system connects through to me it will allow you to disregard the requirement to find a church should you wish to use another wish if you have any left]: god
Hearing the good news about his system, Soren couldn't wait to use it as his ghostly form seemed to be salivating at the thought of going on adventures and picking up beauties along the way, but this thought caught the attention of the old man as he spoke.
[So much for 'Man without Sin'... The first sign of power and you call upon two of the 7 deadly sins, the sins of Lust and Greed… But that shouldn't matter now, any other questions or wishes?]: god
Soren couldn't help but try to hide the embarrassment on his face as he realized he had been caught with his hand in the cookie jar on that one, but he quickly cleared his non-existent throat as he asked an important question.

Seeing how simple it seemed to be, Soren could feel the excitement begin to bubble as he just wanted to leave right away and go start his journey.

Soren was hopeful that he could choose his starting point instead of having the chance to be thrown to the wolves and end up dying quickly.
[Yes, you get to choose where you start, but keep in mind that you have to reach the apex of that world to go to another one, or you could obtain a World Travel Ticket, but those are rare… So, where would you like to start?]: god

Soren was distraught about choices and hoped he could get a recommendation from the old man who was quite happy to give him a recommendation.
[I personally like Hunter x Hunter but it is not a safe first world, you could also go to Your Lie in April, that's a musical world, quite safe, but no real power gain, and quite sad if I might add, I could go on an on]: god
Soren nodded in agreement upon hearing the first two options as he went to wipe away an invisible tear thinking about the ending of Your Lie in April, and just before the old man could continue, Soren spoke.
[I like Hunter x Hunter as well, so I guess I'll take my chances and choose that world]: soren
Seeing as Soren made his choice, the old man began to get into the basics such as when and where he would send him as he began to ask what Soren wanted to do.
[Okay, what family do you want to be born in, and when do you want to be born?]: god
Hearing that he was going to be born as a baby and not transmigrated as himself, Soren was a bit disappointed, but he decided to just push through the disappointment and came up with a game plan as he spoke.

Hearing the choice, the old man couldn't help but give him a chuckle as he spoke in a praising tone while clapping.

Soren's excitement was reaching a climax as he couldn't wait to be sent to one of his favorite worlds to fight monsters and travel to unexplored lands.

Soren was never one to bite the hand that feeds, so he gave his thanks.

After the old man said his parting words Soren's vision began to blur before blacking out as he lost consciousness, and upon waking up, he realized he was still in darkness, but now he felt restricted as he couldn't move his limbs, as he also felt a dizzying sensation.
