I park the car on the curb as I exhale ad walked to the bar. I hope she there where else would go.

I hate this place the guy that owns this  place his name is

Christian Montgomery, one of the most hated men in this city, and I can see why with all his business stories Seducing women and the basement drugs god, my brain just thinks about him. I walk into the bar and try to find Vanessa.

I pass my way through the crown drunk people and see he with three me are the sidebar I walk over and grab her hand she stops.

"Vanessa let's go now," I said, pulling

"Why eve come on have some fun," she says, pulling on my arm. I tool my eyes

"Vanessa, shut your mouth," I say, pulling her through the crowd. She pulls back, trying to get out of my hold.

I put her in the passenger seat and lock the door for the outside. I get in my driver's seat and drive to my place.

After 20 minutes, she passed out. I carried her on my shoulder open the door and lay her down on the couch lay water and a pill for the hangover tomorrow

I put a blanket over her as I Crawled to my bed.

I wake up as the sunlight came in. I pull off the covers and walk over to the couch. I see Vanessa still dozing off.

My phone rings. I walk over to it and picked it up "hello," I answer

Hey, Evelyn, is Vanessa there? She didn't come home last night ?" Mrs. Williams asked

"Yea, she here Mrs. Williams ill drop her off when she's awake," I say as I walk to the kitchen and grab a coffee mug

"Okay, thank you, bye, "she's in a sweet but worried tone.

"Bye," I push the hang up and place it on the counter.

I get my white coffee mug and say sarcastic queen on it and put the made coffee in as I sat it down to my creamer and the sugar. I sit down at the breakfast bar stool.

I finished my coffee and got to my closet, and get dressed. I pick out French alps knit cardigan cream color with high waisted jeans.

As I exit and walk into the living room, I see Vanessa up as she rubs her forehead.

"Your mom called," I say, stepping down the steps and grabbing my purse and keys.

"Oh, sorry for that and last night," she says, pulling herself off the couch.

"It's fine as long as your okay, and thank God you called," I say, walking over to her with confident eyes.

"Thanks, eve," she says as he leans in for a hug

"No problem Vanessa," I say and hug her, stroking her hair.

"I'm so lucky to have you; we better get going. My mom's probably anxious." we both unwrap your arms and head down to the car.

I drop her off and wave goodbye, and drive off. I get a phone call as I stop at a red light. I quickly put it on my phone mont and turn on the speaker.

"Evelyn, come home. Your father has fallen ill, but it's not serious, just stress by him working too hard," she says, anxious and worried.

"Yea, of course, ill be right there" I turn the corner and head on my way to the house

The gate opens as I drive through. I park and get out I wall to the door and open it.

I walk down the hallway and into my father's room.

I see my father with my mother on the side. I walk over and sit at his side.

"Hey, pumpkin," he says. He takes my hands on his, and he looks in my eyes

"I'm done okay, don't worry," he says

"Okay, papa, if you say so," I giggle

"can you do my favor? I have a client, can you give them this envelope" he hands me one of those big orange envelopes.

"Okay, sure," I say

"Just follow the directions on there," he says. I look at it and see and address. I nod my head I kiss his cheek, and leave.
