Chapter 1: Chapter 1: The first day of school
Scene 1 ( day, University of Lagos admission center)
It's the beginning of new academic session. All the students looking so fresh and clean as usual since they have spent quite a long time at home after the university strike that lasted for about 4 months. Different students passing and exchanging pleasantries with one another. At the admission building was a very long que of newly admitted students waiting to collect their original admission letter. It was very noisy as everyone was trying thier best to maintain there line.
Student 1: omg which kind of nonsense is this now? We'll suffèr to gain admission and still suffèr to collect same admission letter...when will nigeria be better self? He said while still fightingg to maintain his line..
Student 2: hmmm my brother if I tell you how many years I have spent applying this University eeh! I finished my secondary since 2011.. so calculate it yourself. Abeg I don't even think I'll be complaining about anything but this long que.. I mean the stress I have been passed through all my life is nothing compared to this.
Student 1: no be small thing. You gave really tried bro.. if it's me I might have given up on...like seriously? Since 2011? Wtf...he said looking so surprised

Behind the student 2 was Mike. He was listening to thier conversation but didn't say anything. Mike is around 22 years old, a good looking and calm guy. Fair in complexion and with rare Brown eyes which made him unimaginably so handsome couple with the box like facial shape. Smooth skin and very spotless. Natural pink lips since he was fair and overall a nice portable body for his age.
Student 1: guy. You have been looking at us since and you're not saying anything..he said while looking at Mike..
Mike: just looking a him without saying anything..
Student 1: Bro. I'm talk to you. He said as he increase his voice slightly..

Student 1: which department you dey?
Mike: anotomy.
Student 2: wow science student. You guys head use to boil..
Student 1: I'm tell you bro. Them Sabi feel themselves like mahd... He said while looking at Mike to see his reaction
Mike: just kept his normal face looking so unbothered by what he said.
Student 1: this one you kept quiet to what I said hope all is well. Science students that loves proving that they are the best...
Mike: sigh... Then smiles a little again without saying anything.
Student 2: oga! You don't talk or what? He asked very fast as he turns back to see Mike clearly..
Student 1: they have pride too.. science student and pride eeh? 5&6 he said while looking a Mike too
Mike: brought his phone and started operating it without responding to any of them..
Student 1: hmmm..then he winked 😉 at student 2 as they both laughed calmly..
Student 2: him don vex..he said quietly to student 1.
Both of them laughed again..
About 10 minutes later... The whole place became more noisy as some students were trying to scatter the que..
Student 2: guy stay well oo.. some stupeed guys have Start scattering the line from the back.. if you do anyhow someone will just pushh you away from your line and entered..
Student 1: I know bro! Some of my friends in this school already explained everything to me.. that is why I didn't bother to look clean while coming because I know it's survival of the fittest.
Not long after that.. the whole people at Bak scatter their que and some other students that were not on the que used the opportunity to enter the que.. the whole stuff Continued that way... Suddenly it got to the place where student 1,2 and Mike was standing.. the other two guys held themselves so well despite being pushedd to and fro.. Mike on the other hand acting sluggishly.. before bye knew a guy suddenly pushedd him out of the que. Mike fell on the ground and almost broke his phone screen..
Student 2: guy! Why did you pussh him that way? You want to keel him? He said angrilyy while looking at the new guy who just joined the que behind him.
The guy: guy mind your business. Did I pushh you? He said rudely while acting so unconcerned.
Student 1: hmmm let me mind my business o. This one that looks like cultîst like this..he said in his mind as he quicky faced his front.
Mike: stood up dusting him self and didn't say anything..
Student 2: guy won't you say something to him? This guy just pushhed you.
Mike: kept a normal face and continue dusting him self.. then checked to see if his phone is ok..
Student 1: bro you better mind your business. Hmmm can't you see that guy looks like all this cultîst? He said quietly not wanting the guy to hear him
Student 2: hmmm.. okay oh.
Mike: bro. Howfer na? Why did you pushh me that way? He said calmly and softly..
Guy: how did you know I pushhed you? You have any evidence?
Mike: okay but that's my line.. I'm the one staying there. Please kindly move away..
Guy: hahaha move away? Guy you funny oh.. I should move away? You're even using phonetic for me.. guy I didn't meet anyone here so this is my line..
Mike: stood still without saying anything... Just looking at the guy..
Guy: faced front.. pretending not to notice...
Student 1: hmmm welcome to unilag! He said while trying to laugh
Guy: thank you my brother. Help me tell him, welcome to unilag bro..he said while laughing as he turned around to look at Mike..
Mike: still looking at him like he was actually going to cry.
Guy: 😳😳..bro. you dey cry? He asked looking surprised
Mike: still didn't say anything and just kept on looking at him..
Student 2: quickly turned to see if Mike was really trying to cryy..
Student 1: turned too..
Mike: still looking at him..
Guy: hey bro stop looking at me that way please. Na only chance I chance you.. I didn't keel anyone ok! He said as he began to Start feeling quilty...
Mike: still looking at him..
Student 1 and 2: hmmm... Trying to figure out what will happen next..
Guy: hmm ok ok! It's ok brother.. come back to your line please abeg. This kind eyes you're looking at me with... Just come back to your line.. he said while trying to create a space for him to enter..
Mike: put his phone in his pocket and walked away without saying anything to him..
Student 2: all this fine fine boys with there strange attitude... What is the meaning of what he just did now?
Guy: I wonder o... I only chanced him nothing more.. he said trying to justify him self..
Student 2: hmmm he as been acting weird since.. he barely talk to us self. He's probably all this ajebo children..
Guy: hmmm... He said and turned back trying to see where Mike is..
Mike: went back and stayed at the end of que operating his phone...
Guy: sigh.. and then faced front..
Guy ( chikozie) is around 24 years of age.. dark in complexion, tall and quite handsome too.. nice built body and looking so strong.. semi smooth face having little pimples and dark spot, white teeth and a very charming smile. Definitely a spec for ay lady!
Few minutes later, it got to the turn of the student 1 and 2. They both entered and collected thier admission later.. after that the other guy entered too. Collected his own and left immediately..
Mike stayed under sun for hours before getting to his turn as he was among the last person to collect that day before bye finally left too.
Scene 2 ( Day, hostel Potters and students, mike trying to get thier rooms)
Mike on the phone with his mom..
Mike: yes mom. I'm there now, I'm among the first person they will attend to.
Mom: ok my dear. Should I send the driver to come pick you immediately you're done?
Mike: no mom.. I'll come home myself. And I thought we have talked about this before?
Mom: don't mind me dear.. I just want you to be safe. Since you insisted on staying in hostel even after I told you that you can be coming from home like your sister.
Mike: mom. I still maintain my ground. I'm staying in the hostel. At least the one I'm staying we're just 4 per room. So it's not that bàd..
Mom: ok my dear... immediately you get the the room let me know ok.
Mike: ok mom. Bye.
Call ended
Then Mike walked inside and met the Potter attending to some students.. he waited for about an hour until it got to his turn..
Potter: ahh oyinbo pepper.. yellow boy are you sure you want to stay hostel?
Mike: good morning sir..
Yes sir I want to stay hostel.
Potter: okay the 4 per room right?
Mike: yes sir.. but is it possible to pay for the full room and stay alone?
Potter: hmmm is it not better you stay off campus then?
Mike: no sir, I just want to stay close to school. Is it possible?
Potter: the highest we can do is to allow only 2 people stay together. We can't allow 1. And you have to pay for the extra 1 space then we look for someone wanting same thing then he pays for extra 1 bed space to. Then both of you stays together.
Mike: ok sir but how do I get someone? Can I just pay for everything then you help me get someone. Let the person pay me back after agreeing to the terms
Potter: alright then but you find us something too oo..he said while smiling
Mike: that won't be a problem sir! So?
Potter: ok boy.. let me pick a very clean and nice one for you that has working fan and good lockers and beds.
Mike: ok sir thank you.
Few minutes later he was done with everything and the potter gave him the keys to the room. The 4 spares was given to him since he paid for everything. He also collected his number so whenever he gets someone he can call him immediately. Some minutes later Mike left..
Not long after that chikozie arrived the same place.. he quickly rushed Inside trying to get to the que.. he was looking very tough, wearing a black face cap.
After sometime it got to his turn...
Chikozie: boss man. Howfer..
Potter: you no dey greet for your house?
Chikozie: haha sorry sir. My bloód dey hot that is why.
Potter: why is your bloood getting hot? He asked as he tries opening a different book looking for free bed space..
Chikozie: so many things dey my head sir..
Potter: you be igbo right?
Chikozie: sure thing!
Potter: abajoó....( No wonder) he said and smiled..
Chikozie: abajoó kinî?( No wonder what?) He asked back..
Potter: oh you understand Yoruba abi?
Chikozie: bèenî sir.. emi ti omó Yoruba bàyi( yes sir, I have turned to a Yoruba like this..
Potter: haahah.. funny boy. You must have been in Lagos for long...
Chikozie: yes sir..I was born here.
Potter:ahh you be full Yoruba be that jare.. he said while smiling
Chikozie: bèenî sir( yes sir)he replied
Potter: so you know how we dey run am abi? You be fresher?
Chikozie: yes I'm fresher.
Potter: old man like you.. he said jokingly
Chikozie: hahaha sir the hustle oo.. we igbo must hustle oo
Potter: I know! So if you want good room you go add us something so we fit run am for.
Chikozie: oh is that all? No whahala sir.. but is it possible to get a space alone? Like can I pay for a full room?
Potter: hmmm... Not really but we can merge you with someone so you guys will only be two in the room.. that is the best we can do.
Chikozie: ok na he no bàd. But I don't want person wey go give me whahala oo..
Potter: o boy na hostel be this oo.. you fightt for yourself.. you look strong na..
Chikozie: 😂😂 sure thing. I be igbo guy na.. the strength dey here.. he said while touching his medium muscle..
Potter: anyways the guy that we gave the room look decent and we'll behaved.. but na all this potty boy shaa.. ajebo children
Chikozie: Oh oya it's better then... What about key to the room
Potter: oh sorry, he paid for all the bed space already.. so you will contact him and balance him for the 2 bed space and also get the keys..

Chikozie: ok sir no prob then.
The Potter gave him the number and he left immediately...
He got outside the hostel and dialed the number..
It rang several times but no response..then he was trekking back when his phone rang again..
On call..
Chikozie: hello..
Mike: hiii..
Chikozie: bro howfer na?
Mike: fine.. who is on the line please?
Chikozie: I got your number from the hostel Potter.. about the room you paid for. He said I'm to balance you so we can stay together.
Mike: oh sorry. I didn't pick your call earlier, I was charging my phone. Sorry! He said with a sweet soft voice
Chikozie: it's fine bro... It's fine so how do we meet now?
Mike: I'll be going to clean the room tomorrow around 10am.. so you can come meet by then
Chikozie: ok bro.. thank you. I'm chikozie
Mike: alright I'm Mike..
Chikozie: ok brother man. We go jàrm tomorrow then..
Mike: sure! Bye take care.
Call ended

Scene 4( Day, Mike, chikozie at the hostel)
Mike: Inside the room doing small cleaning and planning on how to decorate the room to make it nice... He was trying to remove the cobwebs when he heard knock on the door..
Oh..come please he said..
Chikozie: tried opening the door but it was locked from inside..
I guess it's locked he said while standing outside..
Mike: oh.. sorry! He said and quickly dropped the broom as head to the door.. then he opened it..
Chikozie: howfer guy? He said as he enters the room..
Then they both locked eyes..

Mike: immediately remembered him.. hmm it's you!

Mike: the guy that pushhed me off the que and made me stay hours under the sun..
