Chapter 201: Chapter 201
Last before night:
Wang Yu continued with his work after his call with Li Zi Yun. He was too damn tired after all the sex in the morning and the office work that he wanted to go back home soon and cuddle with Li Zi Yun. Wang Yu had not slept much last night and he wanted to rest badly. The branches in S country and G country were giving him headache and he knew that he had put it off long enough. So Wang Yu was busy dealing with it.
Wang Yu had asked Assistant Liu Guang to find information regarding Li Zi Yun's mother's past relationships. Though Li Zi Yun had not asked him to find out, he wanted to find out the truth for Li Zi Yun. Wang Yu had been searching for Li Zi Yun's birth father ever since he came to know the truth, but he had not found any leads.
Wang Yu had asked his men to investigate about the Yang family, Li Zi Yun's mothers' family. Since everyone from the Yang family was dead now, it was hard to find information. There was no one living in the Li family house now, which was formerly the Yang family house. Wang Yu's men had ransacked the place trying to find useful information, which would get them any leads. There were only a handful of people who remembered the Yang family now and Li Shu Chen had done a good job in erasing the traces of the family completely so finding out information was a challenging task.
At last, Wang Yu's men had found out that Li Zi Yun's mother had a childhood sweetheart with whom she had been in contact with even after marrying Li Shu Chen. There had been no one men in her life other than him. It was not easy to find this man. Wang Yu's men had identified this man from the photos found in old albums but it was difficult for them to trace out his details. It had taken some time, but finally they had found out where he lived.
Wang Yu received this information that day night before he left the office. He wanted to talk to the person alone and get to know the truth. Wang Yu thought of visiting him the next day. However, he changed his mind, he thought of visiting him at that night itself, and he took the car, asking his men not to follow him. He wanted to deal with it that moment and he did not feel the need to inform anybody regarding it. Wang Yu did not want his family to get to know in detail about Li Zi Yun's family now.
Wang Yu wanted to do this for Li Zi Yun. He had already informed Li Zi Yun that he would be home late and since he left the office early, he thought he could return to Li Zi Yun's side soon. Wang Yu was not even sure if that man was Li Zi Yun's biological father, but he wanted to know the truth. The place that his men said was a few kilometers from the Wang Residence so Wang Yu drove to that place. It was getting darker and since the location that his men said was some secluded place in the middle of the forest, Wang Yu was driving there.
Wang Yu noticed that a car had been following him ever since he left the office. He asked the men to find out details as he drove. Being followed was not something new for Wang Yu so he did not take it seriously. He had enemies all over the place and he very well knew how to defend himself in case the situation gets out of hand. Wang Yu opened the glove compartment and found a 9mm pistol there, which was kept there for emergency situations.
After Wang Yu drove some distance, the roads got narrower with trees covering either side of the road. The road was so narrow that only one vehicle could move at a time. The trees were getting denser and denser as Wang Yu went deeper.
Suddenly Wang Yu felt something bump in full speed at the back of his car. The sudden impact made his car flip over a few times and hit the tree. This sudden attack was not something Wang Yu expecting and for a second he was seeing stars. It took some time but Wang Yu at last crawled out of the car.
Wang Yu was regretting that he had let his guard down. Though the air bag had reduced the damage of the car crash, still Wang Yu could feel his body aching all over. There was glass shards stuck on his skin making him bleed. He made a huge mistake by not bringing the guards today.
When Wang Yu crawled out of the wreckage with great difficulty, he saw Mr. Huang, Huang Nian's father standing there in front of him with three men behind him.
Wang Yu sneered when he saw him, "Of course. The sly bastard. I should not have left you alive."
Though Wang Yu was all bruised and bleeding, there was not an ounce of fear in his eyes.
Mr. Huang had the eyes of a mad man, "You left me alive? You ruined me… You completely destroyed my family. I will never forget the humiliation you brought upon my family. You are going to pay for everything you did today."
Wang Yu did not feel threatened, he spoke casually, as if he was discussing the weather over a coffee, "That's fine. But in order to forget or remember you have to be alive. I am sure this is the last day you are alive"
Mr. Huang laughed out loud, "I am afraid the odds are against you my son. Do not worry. Even now, I can save you. Just give me your word"
Wang Yu growled, "Tomorrow when I am tearing your limbs let's see if you will still be making a deal"
Wang Yu was leaning against the car for support as he spoke. He could feel the blood dripping in his forehead.
Mr. Huang walked closer to Wang Yu and said, "Ha-ha funny that you think that you can get out of this situation alive. Just say the word that you will marry my daughter, I will let you live"
Wang Yu scoffed. He was sure his ribs were broken and the pain was increasing making it hard for him to concentrate.
Mr. Huang continued, "And by letting you live, I mean handicapped, in bed, without being able to move your hands or legs, completely at my mercy. Begging me to kill you rather than letting you live. Don't worry I will kill you then after I have gotten everything I want"
Someone shot Wang Yu from the back aiming at Wang Yu's hand.
Wang Yu spat on the ground, "SNEAKY COWARD"
Mr. Huang laughed like a maniac, "Consider me a coward for shooting from your back. But I think I am a cunning fox"
There were voices ringing out in the distance and Wang Yu was struggling hard to keep his eyes open. The pain was getting unbearable.
