Chapter 119: Chapter 119: Flashback

Three months ago…

In the facility underneath Lake Windermere, the self-destruct protocol had been enabled and the countdown had begun.

5 minutes.

Inside a room hidden deep in the basement, trapped in a tall cylindrical fiberglass cage was Emery Fitzgerald. Groggy and dazed from the drugs the researchers had placed into his system, it didn't even register to Emery what was occuring. Only when no one was coming in to check on him despite him pressing the intercom button several times did he realize something was amiss. Emery began to panic. He typically wasn't let out of this glass cage unless it's for meals and for showers. The rest of the time he was kept sedated whilst the werewolves harvested his blood.

4 minutes.

In desperation, Emery began banging on the glass cage but was no use. The fiberglass cage was sound proofed. The only way to communicate was through the intercom.

3 minutes.

A loud bang could be heard as the doors opened.
