Chapter 97: CHANGES

By the time they returned home, it was past 10:00 PM and the children were sleeping already. Jojie was watching a movie on the television while waiting for Belle and Eli to come home. 

"Sorry, auntie. We took so long," Belle expressed apologetically when she got inside the house and saw the woman happily munching on pumpkin seeds. 

"I was even praying that you would stay the night somewhere," Jojie whispered which caused Belle to blush again. "Anyway, I had fun with the kids." 

"Thank you for taking care of them, auntie Jo," 

"No worries. I'm glad I'm able to spend more time with them as well." Jojie stood up from the couch with a bowl of pumpkin seeds and walked to the kitchen. "I hope I'd get to hold Eli's son or daughter before I die as well."
