I felt that the village was rather strange—if the hero and humans didn't attack, would their eyes keep viewing me with such pleading looks along with Mari?

"Fufu, you've said it now, and everyone heard!" Mari tricked me, but honestly, I would fall into this trap a thousand times over to see the smile on Yuzu's face...

Her little ears and body-hopping to see over her mother's shoulder while those lovely blue eyes kept gleaming at me with hope and the desire for guidance.

"Sylvia... I am useless when it comes to battle. There is only one thing on my mind, and that is my fight." 

My words were honest. It was something that I had learned over the past dozen or so battles.

If it was small-scale against monsters, then I could handle it, but once the enemies were intelligent or human, I couldn't keep track of them, their tactics, and my rage during battle.
