"That...."

Manager Xia anticipating more from her because base on his evaluations, Ms. Rei is the most have a high IQ and EQ from his team even though she is still a newbie.

"That, if I would guess it right, I will not be like any of my colleagues who got suspended and demoted since I know and aware that I didn't violate any company rules and regulations but maybe promotion perhaps but it's nonsense since I'm still a newbie here and my service it's not enough for the said promotion so I can't guess anything at all."

'As expected from this lady in front of me but then still, how can she's downgrading her own self just like that?'

Rei is waiting for Manager Xia's reply.

"..." Manager Xia still silent because he needs to think about how to convince her and of course, his brainstorming his own mind on how and what to do.

"Manager Xia?"

Manager Xia got to stop from what he thinks and then facing her now by simply asking something.

"So, Ms. Rei by what you guess Promotion what do you think of it?"

"Truthfully I don't know Manager Xia and my service is still raw, I mean it's been almost 7 months that I'm part of this company, so being promoted even for 7 months must be ridiculous for the seniors who already part of this company and serving their best for almost 3 years and up, right?"

"You have a point on there Ms. Rei but that's the reason why they've never got promoted because they never progress or improve a little bit and yet they remained constant of what it is and that they taught it was enough to get promoted. Meanwhile you, you only here for almost 7 months but what you did every day, every month until now you are getting to improve and improve again knowing what's your limit and not. And yes, you got it right, you got promoted".

"Eh?" due to her shock, she only uttered this one word and don't know what she's going to say or react to this sudden good news from her.

"I just received an instruction from the main branch, and from what I heard, well it's only from a simple admin staff that you will be promoted to become a Secretary and got assign at the main branch. Since we're talking about overseas, the main branch gives you a month for decisions, so that you can decide what's best for you because this will be talking about your family and your career after all. We will wait for your decisions for a month and let us know what you decide, okay?"

Rei just nodded because she understands that it's a great opportunity for her and that because opportunities only knock at once and it will never happen again if she disagrees with this offer but then Manager Xia still continues informing her.

"You don't need to worry about your living expenses because the company will shoulder all of it and if you agree, you will know all the details about this when you arrive in the Main Branch. I just told to inform you about this one and just wait for your answer after a month, so you must think very well about this great opportunity for your own career and future, Ms. Rei.

For you to know, you're the first employee here in CA C Town City Branch that got an offer to be part of the main branch and if you agree with the said offer, you will be the first CA C Town City Branch employee to become a Secretary that would a wonderful honor from our branch. So what do you think of it, Ms. Rei?"

"I will think about it Manager Xia and I need to inform this matter to my family members first before I decide on it on my own. I will think seriously of it and do my best that I will give an absolute decision for this matter."

"Okay good and don't let your colleagues know about this one. The management will wait for your final decision one month from now but the management will also hope for your response as soon as possible, Ms. Rei."

"Yes, Manager Xia"

"By the way, in case if you agree, the management asks if you have a passport and if it's yes, can we ask for a photocopy of it?"

"Yes I have but unfortunately my passport always left in the house but I guess I have a copy of it from my email, so I will forward it to you now Manager Xia."

"Okay, and now you may go back to your work Ms. Rei."

"Yes, Manager Xia."

Manager Xia received her email and directly prints her passport. Rei left the Manager's office and seat in her chair then work as if nothing happened but deep inside she already wrack her brain to decide what's good for her.

Every day she thinks and thinks about it but she does still not decide on what's good for her, she didn't even discuss it with her mother because she's worried about what would be her mother's reactions. She knows that her mother is really happy for her if she heard it from her but the one she's worried about is, her brother and her sister are both out of the country together with their own family, so she's worried if she left, who will be the one assisting and will accompanying her mother if she can't and that's what the reason why she didn't have a final decision for the said offer yet.

She didn't even realize that it's already been 3 weeks passed since she got inform, so in other words, she only has a week left to decide. But unknown to her, the management has already done processing her working visa and other necessary documents for her, she already has a flight booking which is a week after a month duration of her decision, so by summarizing it, Rei will be leaving C Town City two weeks from now if she agrees and accepts her new position, if not then it would be a waste.

Because she was busy thinking about her own career, for real she really forgot about Vin and Xue matters at all.

Saturday morning, Rei already arrives in the company as usual and then working seriously. Manager Xia just looking at her and time by the time he got worried because it seems he didn't convince her well. Every day he called the main branch and reports her actions. Manager Xia was getting impatient but the main branch management didn't worry a little bit because they will know it after a month so they just need to wait and will only know that they didn't waste any loss from this offer. The management knows that Rei will agree to this offer because they know what Rei's personality and characters are based on her portfolio along with her work ethics and evaluation.

At 12 noon exactly, Rei leaves right away and rides a public vehicle on the way to their family home and without knowing her brother and sister arrived on the same day but with different schedules together with their own family.
