Chapter 27: HER FIRST KISS
Kaito and Masahiko were still processing what had happened. It had happened too fast to understand anything. They kept on looking at the skateboard and Yuqi and Sosuke in turns.
Without any further words Yuqi hugged Sosuke tightly. It was Sosuke's turn to freeze. Slowly he hugged her back and they stayed like that for a minute. As their hug broke, Sosuke looked at Yuqi again and turned to face Masahiko.
"You were teaching her how to skateboard right? Did you not realize that her position was not appropriate? If I hadn't come it could have been bad!", he screamed at Masahiko.
Masahiko did not know how to respond. He opened his mouth but no words came out. Looking at how helpless Masahiko seemed right now, he held Yuqi's hand and said,"I don't care if your date is over or not, I am taking her home!". And he stomped out.
Kaito looked at Masahiko ,but again... words did not come out. He then shook his head not knowing what to do and started following Sosuke. He made sure he was at a distance from the two.
"I am sorry if you did not like the way I acted with him. And... and...umm...and sorry for spoiling your date.",he said in a low volume.
Yuqi first looked at his hand that tightly held hers and replied,"It was not a date."
With that one sentence he looked at Yuqi sharply. His face showed how embarrassed and confused he was.
"I still like you. No matter how much I try, I still like you.",she said almost mumbling.
With that being said... he turned to look at her. He felt somewhat pleased to see her that shy and her face that red. She was too embarrassed. Her face seemed even cuter than before to him.
Not even minding where they were... he sharply turned her towards him and bent down to kiss her lips. She was taken a back. She didn't expect that : firstly, her first kiss would be in the middle of the street, next her first kiss will be when she is moving to grade 12!
