Alexa will be discharge at the hospital today. Dra. Gonzales was inside their room to give prescriptions for her and for their twins. "John, you're a doctor too so you're aware of the do's and dont's for Alexa and your twins, right?" Dra. Gonzales said looking serious but can't hide her grin. John scratched her head while Alexa blushed. "It's your 1st trimester so you should be careful." The OB said looking at Alexa. "See me after a month but if there's a problem, call me anytime or see me here,ok?" Dra. Gonzales asked and the couple nodded.
Finally, they're home. John prepared dinner. Alexa was feeling better and wanted to help John but didn't allow her. "Just sit there and relax." John said winking at Alexa. John prepared the table and served their dinner. Alexa felt weird. The food looked good and have eaten those before but now when she saw the food prepared by John, she wanted to throw up. She also hayes the smell. "What's wrong wifey?" John asked. " I don't like them." Alexa said and ran hurriedly towards the sink and vomited. John rubbed her back gently. After she felt relieved, she sat on the sofa at the living room. She didn't want to return to the dining table. The smell of the food make her tummy upset. After John cleaned the dining and kitchen area, he sat beside Alexa. "What do you want to eat? I'll buy outside. You should eat because our little ones will starve." John said while stroking her tummy. " Hmmm.... I want chocolate cake!" Alexa said with twinkling eyes. "Ok, stay put, I'll go outside." John said kissing her forehead. "And hubby, I want macchiato frappe!" Alexa said before John opened the door. "Ok, boss wifey!" John said while smiling. There was a coffee shop around the corner, John ordered the food that Alexa wanted and for him, he ordered blueberry cheesecake and french vanilla coffee.
"Wifey, here's your food." John said. Alexa came out from the kitchen and she just finished vomiting again. "Are you ok?" John asked worriedly. "Yes, hubby, just an upset stomach. " Alexa said. "Maybe after satisfying my cravings, it will be over." Alexa continued. She opened the paper bag and happily placed the food on the table. When she saw the dessert of her hubby, "Can I have this one?" holding the blueberry "and this too?" holding the vanilla. "Change of taste?" John asked while looking at Alexa eating his desserts. He knew about the sudden changes in likes, food, mood and more on pregnant women and seems that her wifey is only at the starting line of it so he should be willing to do all of her wifey wants until the finish line.
One week passed. John wanted to extend his leave but he thought of his patients and Alexa was pushing him to go back immediately. "I'm feeling better now hubby." Alexa said to John while fixing his shirt. "You sure?" John asked. Alexa nodded. She wanted to accompany him but the latter didn't allowed her. "One more week!" John said. "Bella will be my secretary for this week and you can go with me the following week." John said he kissed her lips and bid goodbye.
Hospital. "I want it to be perfect." John said talking to Mike. " Ok, but where do you plan to do it?" Mike asked curiously. "Im choosing our alma mater or in here." John said. "I'll asked Bella and Myra to help me in preparing. Of course their Alexa's besties so I should inform them and asked for some suggestions." John continued. "Did your parents and in laws know your plan?" Mike asked. "Yes, I called them last week and of course the oldies were very excited." John said smiling. "Ok, bro, just tell me what can I do to help, I'm willing to do everything for both of you." Mike said. "Just be my best man bro." John said. "You got it."
