I stared at Edward for a little while, wondering if he was going to respond in any way. However, he simply remained in place. There wasn't even any reaction that let me know he was actually listening.

I looked up at Gray.

"You think he heard me?"

Gray let out a giggle.

"Yeah, I think so!"

I stood up and looked at him for a little while longer.

"Well, whether or not you want to take my advice is up to you in the end. Hope it helps you in some way."

With that, I turned to Nathan.

"Ah, by the way, do you think that we could work something out to get iridescent crystals from the black market?"

In response, he simply narrowed his eyes.

"I don't see why you would need my help in the first place."

A bitter smile formed on my face.

"...You're overestimating me. Besides, you know that's not the main point."

Nathan took a deep breath.
