And then the voice vanished. I was stunned beyond words. Worth? Was he testing me all along? That damned god!

He wiped the foods on his face. Then look at me with a serious gaze, then at Belle beside me.
"You are good. If I entrust Belle to you, I would feel relieved"

What plan! I don't even know anything about this world, but I could only say that to change the topic.

But only that clothes don't enough to prevent me from catching a cold.
After wandering three days in the wilderness, I finally arrived at this city. And the tales of the poor homeless boy begun here.

He was the attendant that old man Mile hired not too long ago for attending his store. He seemed out of breath and a panic could be seen on his face.
"Hm? What happened?"
Seeing that his attendant coming here this early, moreover with a face full of panic, he frowned.
"The store—the store is under attack!"
His voice was stuttering.

"What!"
Hearing that his store being attacked, he abruptly stood up. The chair he sat on was fell down and the cup of tea he held was crushed.
"Who is it!"
"I—I don't know. Boss, we should hurry."
The attendant knows better the situation in the store. He knew that if we didn't hurry, there is a big chance the store would be completely destroyed.
After thinking a bit, old man Mile said to the attendant "You call the Town Security for help. I will go to the store!"

The attendant rushed out of the house.

There was a hint of worried written on aunty Emy's and Belle's face.
"Don't worry. I will take care of this."
After saying that, he abruptly dashed out of the house.
"Old man, I will help."
I followed behind, not waiting for his response.
Residential District was not too far from Industrial District where old man Mile's store located. Industrial District was a place where the main industry of this Merchant City concentrated. One could find any kind of stores, any kind of restaurants or anything that related to business here. It only takes ten minutes of running for us to reach the store.
The name of old man Mile's shop was Blue Ocean Store. The store which was originally relatively small, now after the big profit we earned previously was expanded and became one of the biggest stores in the city.
"Who dares to attack my store!"
There were no less than twenty men wearing a coat covering their face. They still fighting with the guards that old man Mile hired for protecting his store. After the store expansion, there were always some people looking for trouble, but only minor one like thieving. Something like this which was attacking in the open has never happened before, so the guards only have ten men and they could barely hold on.
"They have mages. Kid, help me deal with these bastards, I will activate the defensive formation."

What is this cheat-like buff the system gave me? Haha, this Tutorial Mode is very similar to the games back in my previous world. Protecting the player until they get used to the game!

So the inventory the system gave me was basically the long gone ancient magic, it's a pity it was only temporary.
Items rank could be differentiated respectively to unranked, bronze, iron, silver, gold, and platinum. It's still unconfirmed whether the rank beyond platinum exist or not. The crowds and even the enemies were looking at me with the perplexed eyes. I'm quite enjoying these, this feels very good! But when I heard the crowds, I realized something that more important.
