Chapter 13: Chapter 13
'So close', Wolfram thought, 'just a few more minutes and I can get the hell out of here.'
He examined his prize, currently held within his hands. It was a delicate piece of machinery, looking like a thin metal crown, meant to wrap around the temple.
'Hard to believe such a tiny thing could amplify quirks.'
As expected of the number one genius inventor David Shield, who was currently being dragged by him. David's shoulders was injured due to Wolfram stabbing him with a metal spike for being uncooperative.
"Where… are we going? You already have what you want." Asked David while glaring at the villain.
"To meet my real employer, of course." Answered Wolfram with a grin.
"Your real employer? Who?"
"Ah, not so fast," Wolfram wagged his finger, "I won't be telling you anything until I'm sure we're secure. I'm not like the other second rate villains who let down their guard at the last moment."
Wolfram put a finger on his earpiece, activating it, "Hey, is the ride ready?"
[She's been ready all night, boss. Just waiting on you]
"Good. We'll be there in a minute. Get ready for takeoff." He grinned sinisterly.
[What about the others, sir?]
"What about them?" They were just pawns, in the end. Nothing consequential, and definitely not needed after tonight's operation.
The was silence of the radio for a little bit, before the other side responded.
[…Roger that, sir. Over.]
After walking for a bit, they eventually emerged from within the I-Tower to the rooftop, upon which a helicopter was already prepped and ready for takeoff.
Wolfram grabbed the professor by the scruff of his shirt and began dragging him over to the aircraft, keeping a close eye on him the entire time.
If he was going to stage an escape, now would be the opportune time. Fortunately, he seemed relatively docile, and obediently got into the aircraft without much resistance.
Everything was going smoothly. Yet, there was a certain sense of unease that Wolfram couldn't shake off.
This operation had been almost too successful. Too smooth, well aside from those kids earlier but they were of no problem.
Wolfram had purposefully cut off radio communications with his men downstairs because he had been planning on abandoning them in the first place, but now he wondered if that had been a good idea.
He had no clue what was going on downstairs. 'What if All Might had gotten free?'
Unlikely, but this was the world's best hero we're talking about. Doing the impossible is a staple for someone like him. 'If that's the case, then there's even less reason to dally around here.'
"Lift off," Wolfram gave the order. He won't feel safe until he's in the air. He patted my pockets just in case. 'Machine's still there.'
The helicopter began to lift off from the landing pad slowly. Wolfram glanced at the entrance from I-Tower suspiciously, waiting for the other boot to drop. Nothing.
The aircraft successfully launched into the air, and Wolfram let go of the tenseness in his shoulder and sighed in relief.
"Another job well done," He congratulated himself, closing his eyes in relief.
Just in time to miss a green blur fly towards him, appearing above the aircraft.
The last thing he heard before everything exploded was.
"SMASH!"
Boom!
Izuku grabbed David before he punched the helicopter causing it to explode. He then quickly landed on the landing pod on top of the tower.
"T-Toshi…?" David mumbled incoherently, before his head sagged to the side and his body slumped like a ragdoll.
Izuku gave a silent sigh of relief. At least it seemed like he was alive for now. He lay his prone form against a wall gently, before turning his gaze around to the helicopter wreckage.
"Izuku!"
"Izuku! Papa!"
Hearing his name, the ninth holder of One for All turned his gaze behind him, where he saw Katsuki, Momo, and Melissa running towards him.
'Melissa's here? Does that mean the security system is down?' he sighed in relief, 'Good, then All Might and the others should be free now.'
"NERD! DODGE!"
"IZUKU!"
"MOVE!"
'Huh?' Instincts honed after years of training screamed at him as his body glowed like never before. Without even thinking, he moved his right arm and released a punch.
Boom! A powerful wind pressure was created from the punch, sending almost anything flying away.
He completely obliterated the large pillar of metal that shoot towards him. Izuku looked at where the pillar came from, and saw Wolfram with the Quirk Amplifier on his head.
Debris from the wreckage began to rise around him. They formed a metallic construct around his lower body, raising him up so that he towered high above the tower.
Iron pipes coiled like serpents around him, looking like some demented metallic Lovecraftian horror monster.
Izuku looked at his Full Gauntlet, 'I used hundred percent in my punch earlier. I only have two shots left.'
"You okay Izuku!?" Bakugo went beside him and helped him stand up, "That punch earlier was at hundred percent...."
"Yeah," Izuku nodded, "This gauntlet works like a charm. Thanks Mel, I owe it to you."
Melissa smiled, "No problem." She then turned towards her father who was unconscious and went towards him, "Papa."
Momo created some bandages and handed it to Melissa, "Here, wrap up your father's wounds."
"Thank you." Melissa nodded and took the bandages.
"Oi..." Wolfram grinned as a large pillar of metal rose and flicked towards them, "Don't forget about me!"
Izuku went to a stance, as did Bakugo as they prepared to destroy the pillar.
However, it was at that moment that yellow blur appeared above Wolfram, startling him as he quickly covered himself.
"CALIFORNIA SMASH!"
BOOM!
All Might released a powerful smash, frowning a bit when he could only dent the protection made by Wolfram. He didn't bothet punching again, and just flashed towards Izuku and the others.
"All Might!" Izuku smiled seeing his mentor, "Are you alright? What about the others!? Are they fine!?"
The number one hero nodded, "Everyone's fine young Midoriya. The heroes have already evacuated the civilians from the tower, right now we are the only one here."
"Enough talking you two," said Bakugo, "The fight's not over yet."
They turned towards Wolfram who was chuckling while looking at All Might, "I heard Dave here, your quirk is vanishing! Why should I be afraid of you!?"
More metal tentacles shot up and started assaulting the group. Izuku grabbed Momo and Melissa and dodged around the attacks.
Bakugo dodged while blasting the attacks.
All Might picked up Dave and put him on a safe place before he tried to hit metals back, but they just kept coming, and his was now running low on time.
"So it's true!? Hahaha!" Wolfram laughed, "The previous All Might would've already blown everything away with a single smash! YOU HAVE GOTTEN WEAKER!"
Wolfram sent one last large wave of metal pillars, but they were suddenly blown away by a powerful explosion. "What the-!"
"WHAT THE FUCK ALL MIGHT!" Wolfram and All Might turned towards Katsuki, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? HOW COULD YOU LET YOURSELF BE BEATEN BY SUCH A WEAK ASS BOSS! PUT YOUR BACK INTO YOUR PUNCHES!"
All Might stared at his student and grinned, "You're right! How dare I be pushed back by something as foolish as limit!? Thank you for the help! Young Bakugo!"
"Tsk."
Izuku, who was at the distance just smiled before turning towards his black haired female friend, "Momo, do you think you can do this..."
Momo's eyes widened, she hadn't even thought of that! She quickly nodded, "I don't know, but I'll try..."
Izuku nodded before turning towards Melissa, "Go and stay with the professor, we'll handle this."
Melissa stared at him for a few seconds before nodding and running towards her father who was at the far back.
Izuku ran towards All Might followed by Momo, who was still thinking about what Izuku said to her earlier. 'Gods, and they said I'm smart. I didn't even think of doing that...'
Now, the three teens along with All Might stood in front of Wolfram.
Said villain just grinned seeing them together before looking at All Might, "Do you want to know All Might? Why I have the courage to launch an attack at I-Island of all places, even though you are here?"
The number one hero remained silent, he was concentrating hard just to keep his muscled form. Though he was also curious as to why Wolfram decided to attack one of the most secure places on Earth.
Wolfram grinned, "It was because 'he' told me that you are greatly weakened. That you aren't even as strong as you were in your prime due to the injuries you suffered when you fought 'him' around five years ago."
'Him?' Izuku and Bakugo thought while looking at All Might.
'Injuries?' Momo stared at All Might in shock, and now that she observed him closer, she can see that All Might was struggling to even stand, and blood was dripping on the corner of his lips.
All Might just froze hearing Wolfram's words. 'No...No, no, no, it can't be! He's still alive!?'
Wolfram smiled, "Enough talk. I will end you now. Then maybe, he'll thank me and even give me another powerful Quirk."
He quickly sent a wave of metal pillars the four.
"GO TO HELL!" Bakugo yelled and sent a powerful blast of explosion, destroying most of them.
Momo furrowed her brows and opened her palms forward, 'Alright, carbon dioxide, water vapor, oxygen, nitrogen....and...'
"Go!" Almost immediately, a fire flickered with life on her palm as it grew bigger and bigger before it went flying towards thw remaining pillars of flames.
Boom! It immediately exploded upon contact, destroying the metal pillars that Bakugo couldn't destroy.
She blinks her eyes and stared at her hands, 'Oh my god. I feel tired and my palms burns, but oh my god! My Quirk can actually do that!'
"What the-!?" Bakugo turned towards Momo, "Since when could rich girl do th—Never mind, I get it. Create any non-living things as long as you knew its molecular structure...shit, and they said I have an OP Quirk."
Bakugo turned towards Wolfram, "Me and rich girl will clear a path for the two of you. Make sure to give that man a beating for me."
All Might shook his head, "No, it's too dangerous, let me handle this, I can still—"
"All Might," Izuku stared at his mentor, "You're already at your limit. Let me help. This gauntlet is a gift from Melissa, it allows me to fire off an attack at one hundred percent three times without breaking my bones. I already used one, but I still have two left. I can help you."
"Young Midoriya..." All Might stared at his protege before smiling and stretched his fist, "Very well. Please help me in defeating this villain."
Izuku grinned and bumped his fist, "Yes sir!"
"Enough talking and go!" Said Bakugo.
The mentor and protege stood side by side as they faced Wolfram who was already preparing countless metal pillars to fire at them.
Izuku's body glowed, and a beat later, the two of them shot off to the villain. Bakugo and Momo doing their best to clear a path for them.
Melissa, who was at the back watching her father looked up at Izuku. At first, she could still see him moved, but in the next moment, he vanished from her sight.
If before when she saw him use his Quirk at the Villain Attack Attraction, he was like a streak of light, now he was quite literally a streak of light.
Fire and sparks trailed behind his green lightning. A cone of fire was in front of him as he shot through metal attacks after attack.
He was keeping up with All Might without issue!
'Is this his hundred percent?' She thought before looking at her father, 'Papa, you don't have to worry about losing the Symbol of Peace, there is already someone who was rising to take that title.'
Wolfram's head felt like it was splitting open. His nose was bleeding. The Quirk Amplifier and the concussion he suffered from Momo's attack earlier seemed to not like each other.
He couldn't use his full power anymore or else he'd risk his head exploding due to pain. While Izuku and All Might continued to move unobstructed due to Momo and Bakugo clearing a path for them.
"RAAAAH!" Wolfram roared and built a massive city block sized cube of metal and threw it straight at the All Might and Izuku.
Izuku and All Might glanced at it, and as if they've done this multiple times, the two cocked their fist at the same time.
"DOUBLE!" They clenched their fist as hard as they can, "DETROIT!"
When they were about to meet the large block of metal, they immediately threw a punch, "SMAAAASSHHH!"
A blinding light erupted from their clash, and Izuku and All Might pierced right through the cube blasting it to bits.
They immediately shot off above Wolfram, and prepared to fire off a powerful smash once again!
Bakugo stared at them with a grin and screamed, "GO! ALL MIGHT! IZUKU! FINISH HIM!"
Melissa and Momo soon followed after and screamed, "IZUKU! ALL MIGHT! DO IT!"
All Might coughed up mouthful of blood but still continued to smile, "Push through every obstacles...!"
Izuku's gauntlet was already showing signs of being destroyed, but he still showed a grin on his face, "Go Beyond....!"
For some reason, the two released a bright light with myriad of colors as they flickered towards Wolfram who created a metal cocoon to protect himself.
But it proved to be futile as they easily broke it, causing a massive explosion which shook the entire island.
"PLUS ULTRA!"
