Hours has passed since I was in this dungeon.
Zombies, runners, and hunters. These monsters were what I have found for now.
I could barely fight a hunter.
[ Hunter level 10 ]
There was a red dot over its head, signaling that it was stronger than I.
It crawled on all fours as it growled, searching for something.
I hid under a desk in an office building.
Grooww....
The hunter was crawling on the ceiling as I heard a growl vibrating through the air.
I held my breath as I felt the wind carry the sense of danger.
The hunter was close.
Bam!
I felt the desk over me shake as I heard a low growl.
Clank! Crash!
I closed my eyes as I heard something shatter.
The world seemed to pause as the hunter growled.
Grrr!!
The desk shook as the hunter jumped towards the direction of the sound.
" No! Noo!!"
The screams of a woman as I heard the desks and chairs scrape the floor.
I gritted my teeth as I felt my heart besting faster.
Anxiety and fear gripped my heart, but most of all, the feeling of shame for not helping filled my heart.
I gritted my teeth.
I couldn't spend another minute hiding again.
' Stop being a coward!' I thought to myself.
I slowly crawled out the desk.
" Stop! Noo!!"
I hurriedly grabbed a book from a nearby desk office.
I spotted the hunter chasing after a woman in a suit.
I threw the book but missed it, but I managed to catch it attention.
Graaaahhh!!!
The hunter screamed as the official woman ran out of the office along with a few office workers who hid.
I panicked as the hunter made its way towards me.
I ducked and ran, maneuvering through the office using my small stature to run and hide.
The hunter ran through the chairs and desk that I moved to slowly it down.
' My bag! My bag! Gotta find it!' I thought as I ducked under a long table and used it as a shield before moving again.
Greee!!!
The hunter stumbled over the table and fell.
I ran for the exit and burst through the door, and ran down the hallway towards the stairways.
Bang!
I burst through the stairway doors and heard screaming from below.
I looked down the stairways before running down as I felt the wind nudge me.
" shit!" I cursed as I heard the door behind me slam open.
Greeeaaaa!!!
Panick filled me as I ran down the stairs.

I heard screams along with bones breaking as I jumped down to the next floor.
I ran through the door to the 8th floor.
I ignored the guilt as I left the survivors downstairs.
' The stairs are filled with zombies below.' I looked around to see no zombies as i quickly tried to find another way downstairs.
I brought a chair and put it under the door handle.
" Huff!" It took a lot of my stamina as I searched the floor.
" The vents!" I looked up at the ceiling before looking around to find anything.
" Come on! Anything!?" I ran around the floor and checked the closet.
Slack!
A brooms stick fell to the ground, spooking me.
I stepped back before catching my breath before looking into the closet.
Bam!!
I jolted as I heard the door slam open.
I hurriedly went inside the closet and closed the door.
Graaahhh!
The hunter screamed before sniffing the air.
It growled as it started moving around.
I held my breath.
The hunter sniffed the air as it came closer.
I looked around in the closet and found nothing.
I sighed as u looked at the hunter. Then, at my stamina bar.
[ Stamina: 76/80]
I took a deep breath before slamming the door on the hunter.
Bam!
Graa!!
The hunter screamed as I used all my strength to push it away before running away again.
" Huff! Huff!" I ran I to the stair way before running downstairs.
Once more, the hunter was chasing me again.
Thud!
The hunter threw itself against the wall before crawling towards me.
I kept running before spotting my bag.
" Yes!" I celebrated as I slung my bag over my shoulder before grabbing g my staff and turning around.
" Gah!" I fell to my back as the hunter bit down on my staff.
Grak! Graa!
The hunter screamed as I dodged a swipe from it.
" Ahhhh!!" I shouted as I felt myself struggling.

I gritted my teeth before using my small legs to push it off with all my might.
Graaah!
The hunter hit the stair railing as I reached into my bag and grabbed the BB Gun.
I quickly aimed it at the hunter.
Time seemed to freeze as I locked eyes with the hunter.
I used my mana to activate my eyes of confusion.
Graak?
The hunter grabbed the railing before shaking its head.
I pulled the trigger, shooting the remaining ammo.
Blood splurged from the hunters eye as I quickly got up and threw the BB gun to the hunter.
[ Critical Hit! ]

I grabbed the staff and hit over the railing, causing it to fall.

" Haa! Haa..." I held the railing to hold myself up.
I looked into the empty space looking for the panel, but nothing...
" Still alive... fuck." I cursed as I sat down on the stairs.
I shifted my bag on my back before turning on my new flashlight that was attacked to the strap of my bag.
" The survivors..." I muttered as I forced myself to my feet.
I looked upstairs.
Up there were survivors that made a base.
And I liked downstairs.
Which had zombies on every floor and that hunter that managed to survive.
" Sigh..." I sighed as I chose to go upstairs.
I used the railing to help myself walk.
Greeeeeaaaaaa!!!
I felt the danger in the wind as I felt the wind nudging me downstairs.
The wind was telling me something again.
I looked up before downstairs.
Something was moving in the dark as it approached towards my direction.
With my flashlight, I managed to see a hint of the hunters appearance.
I gripped my staff, ready to fight once more.
Graak...
The hunter jumped over the railing standing before me.
I grabbed a bottle from hand and threw it at the hunter.
I quickly turned heels and ran to the eighth floor again.
I slammed through the door and ducked as the hunter jumped over me and hit the wall.
I quickly ran to the right side.
I grabbed a few pebbles from the side of my bag and tossed them behind me.
Grah!
The hunter slipped and slid on the floor before getting up.
I looked behind me before grabbing my staff.

His health was low.
The fall damage must've done the rest of the damage.
This was my only chance.
As the hunter used the walls and ceiling to move towards me, I swung the staff.

The hunter's head turned to the side before falling to the ground.
I stabbed the staff towards the hunters throat.
But just as the staff was an inch from the hunters throat, the hunter grabbed the staff.
I froze as the hunter growled.
Grrrr!
I teost the staff and kicked the hunters head before the hunter countered with kicking me away.

The hunter leaped on me as I used my forearm to protect my throat.
Shlick! Crunch!
" Ahhhh!" I screamed as I felt my bones breaking.

I reached for my pocket knife in the bag.
I flicked it open and stabbed it into the hunters. It remains eye.

The hunter died as its jaw was still on my forearm.
I crawled out of the hunters body and propped myself against the wall.
I grabbed my arm and looked at it.
" Crap...." I muttered as I felt despair filling my body.

I felt hopeless as I looked at the system panel.

' Two....two hours. I got two hours.' I felt a little ray of hope.
I remembered I had a gamer system, which means there would be drops from defeated enemies.
And if I could defeat the boss.
Maybe just maybe it'll drop the antidote.
I sat until my stamina was filled again and walked out on the new bracer I gotten.
