Chapter 31: Chapter : 29 I need to get stronger

(MC POV)
"DETROIT SMASH!!" I heard Deku scream out..a disgusting amount of force followed..
This time I gathered a huge amount of power in my hand..I can't half ass it this time..
I caught the fist of Deku with my hand and unstoppable force of strength was released at my palm..
*Boom!!*
The force was going to blow be away but my back and elbow erupted with a huge explosion to counter the force..
The ground below where our attacks collied spit into cracks..A piece of the building was blasted away by my explosion..
My hands felt numb but ultimately, I stop the attack..Dust raised and smoke filled the air as the whole building quaked..
"Ahhh!!" Deku screamed in pain, the smoke cleared up and I could see his whole arm was purple..
His eye was filled with pain and a little shock.."That one actually hurt..You continue to surprise me Deku" My voice was heard as the smoke on me cleared up as well..
That was true, I really underestimated him..I estimate his power and restrict myself to something just above that level but..
I was proven wrong throughout the whole fight, the moment I thought I had his current strength, he went beyond that and continued suprising me..
He still doesn't know full cowling but his body is way stronger than cannon so even when he used 100%, the injuries are not as serious as instant broken bones..
He used his fingers and his toes..intrestingly he can also use his forehead..
Looks like he has been training solely on focusing One for All in a single point during those 10 months...He could gather his power in a single point way better than he did in cannon..
'He has grown so much..I feel like shedding a happy tear..hehe'
Is this how parents feel like?
"Kacchan...I am not the only one holding back." Midoriya grit his teeth in pain and voiced out. He was not too suprised, like he was expecting this outcome..
"What? you expect me to really kill you?" I scoffed and threw him away..
He flipped in the air and landed on the ground, holding his injuried arm, some fingers were also injuired in the other arm but nothing too serious..
"You have a really strong quirk and a very good mind that can make split decision in an instant...but you are too unrefined!!" I told him as I slowly walk towards him..
'Maybe some few bloody fight with villains will be extremely good for him'..
"Like a tricycle with a Jet engine." One for All was fucking overpowered..My instinct blared like crazy whenever he used it...but it was because of his quirk, not him..
I saw it, he was only able to use but a tiny portion of that power...like he had a machine gun but he used that to stab me..
Such unrefined raw power..I am a litttle jealous.
Just kidding..my power was still better...
'He might really match me if he could tame and control that power'...Too bad he can't...
"Well..enough playing around." I flexed my muscle and cracked my neck..

'That should buy Hagakure enough time'...I thought about the things we discussed before..
I could just brute force my way towards the bomb and win the whole thing by myself but..no..
This is a battle traning..I need to train in different aspects, not just train myself to destroy..You cannot be a pro Hero with just one max attribute, you need to be able to fight, plan, cooperate, etc..
I have to remember, my goal is to be a Hero, not a villain who only knows how to destroy..
'And..I need to help others grow too' I thought about Hagakure, she also needed experience and training..And Deku too
I looked at the eyes of Deku, it was burning with fighting spirit..

(Midoriya POV)
'Strong, he is just too strong.' I thought to myself as I saw Bakugo standing there, unscratch..
Many times I thought I had him, but no matter how hard I hit..No matter how much I plan..No matter what suprise I threw at him...
He just shrugged everything off...Its like he has an indestructible shield around him..
Even 100% didn't do anything..he was able to catch it, just like that..
'So this is the gap between us' I grit my teeth in the realization..'I was never even strong enough to see just how much stronger he was.'..
But I don't want to lose..I want to be able to compete with him.
"Well....enough playing around" he flexed his muscle and cracked his neck..His whole demeanor changed into a more serious one..
'He is not just playing anymore.' I get into position.. "Come at me..with all you got." He said as he looked at me with a predatory smile..
I need to give everything I got if I don't want to lose and if I want to catch up to him..
"No..I need more than that.." I ignored the beating pain in my arm as I got in a position to shoot forward..
"I need to go beyond..I need to go plus ultra." I said to myself as I gathered One for All in my body...
"Here I come!!" I yelled as my toe shot me forward, towards my opponent..
"Smash!!" I pulled my hand back and when I felt One for All build up in my arm I shot it out.
My punch cut through the air with unshakeable momentum..Green sparks covered my arm, gathering strength..
But bakugo swing his arm, grabing my wrist and redirecting my punch..Flames exploded on his hand to push away my arm..
My attack was redirected and the shockwave broke the building on his side..
I stayed there, pausing in the air before Bokugo's fist found their way to my stomach..
My inside was squeezed by the force and I felt my whole world shake..I black out for a moment..
Then his fist exploded in power as the pain woke me up and blew me away with such speed that I flew back faster than I shot forward..
I crashed on the wall..feeling broken and dead..I coughed out blood but I have no time to stay around..
The air blew wildly as Bakugo raged forward in flames..my body moved before my mind..
All my thoughts were useless..my mind had no time to predict, plan nor think as I moved solely on my reflex and instinct...
The attack landed near me..burning my costume and the shockwave blew me away..
My ear ringing, pain assaulting all my senses as I stood up with shaky legs..
My sight was blurry but I can still make out which is which..
I will not stop until I fall..I need to catch up!!
I need to try harder...

I need to work harder!!!
..
If I ever want able to compete and stand shoulder to shoulder to him..
..
