Chapter 44: MAMA Pt1
It's been two months since Irene and I made our relationship public and things between us have been going smoothly.....Well if you don't consider the saseang fans that were always out to attack either one of us each chance they got. I'm currently in the limousine with the rest of my members, waiting for our turn to get off and make our appearance on the red carpet at this year's MAMA. "Three years ago if you told me we would be this successful, I would think you're out of your mine and yet today I can't believe it's already the second year since our debut and our success keeps on growing alongside us." Jun said while reminiscing about our journey. "I think the world's going to come to an end... Since when did Jun get so sentimental??? " Ryu asked with a shocked expression.
"Hehe of course he's changed these days.... Don't you know about how he finally got a girlfriend." said Kun with a teasing tone. "Ya! You got a girlfriend and you didn't tell us!" Ryu, Fan and I screamed at the same time while staring at Jun. "It's not that I didn't, it's just that I didnt get a chance too, I only asked her to officially be my girlfriend a week ago." Jun said trying to calm everyone down but when we heard he asked her out, we were shocked as we know the type of personality he has and it's not the type to take the initiative for anything. "One week ago...you make it seem like it was yesterday and who's the girl that made you take the initiative?" I asked the question we all wanted to know. He looked away trying to hide his embarrassed expression and said in a bearly audible voice "Rose..."
When we heard that there was silence...complete silence until I got out of it and yelled "HOW TF DOES THAT EVEN HAPPEN!!" in a shocked voice.... I couldn't believe it because she calls me oppa and treats me like I'm her elder brother and always shares important issues with me, besides that her personality is also the complete opposite from his "imma kill my self someday" emo attitude, so it was like a bombshell going off in my head trying to fit the pieces together. 'I guess this is what it feels like when you find out your little sister got a boyfriend' I thought while chuckling to myself. "I'm sorry hyung but don't get mad" he said with a sad look. "*sigh* Why would I even get mad you idiot, I'm happy that she got someone that I can trust to be around her and not some douchebag but what shocked me was that she didn't even let me know." I said feeling a bit sad. "Actually the truth is that she wanted to tell you as soon as we started dating but I told her not to as we were supposed to surprise you guys and her members at the same time but who would of thought that Kun would poke his nose where it doesn't belong." Jun said while giving Kun dirty looks making us all laugh.
"We're here." our manger said from the passenger seat disrupting out conversation. "Ok guys let's go." I said and stepped out of the limo. As soon as we stepped out we heard deafening screams and were blinded by camera flashes. We felt bad for the other idols who arrived before us that were on the red carpet getting their pictures taken because as soon as we arrived, all the photographers turned to us for pictures. While we were walking Red Velvet came into my view and I could see Irene in a stunning dress giving me a gentle smile which the fans noticed and promted them to start screaming more. After making our walk down the red carpet, we arrived next to the other idols and waited in line to get taken to our seats inside, when we arrived, I stood with my group although I wanted to go to Irene who was next to my but I couldn't as I was the leader and image of our group so was Irene for here's so we were both annoyed but as we were brooding one of the photographers helped us out.
