Synopsis
I came to the world in mid-July; born with a strange eye. It was during the Ghost Festival. They said that I carried a bad omen which cursed my mother to death during the very day of my birth. In my village, there would be at least one death during the mid-July of every year. When I was ten, the death villagers came to me for revenge. To protect myself, I participated in a necrogamy; I married myself to the Ghost King to subdue the ghost. Then, there was the incident of Ghostly Fire in the cemetery; the dead infant in the well; the sinister jade bracelet… Many bizarre things happened near me. Even the great master predicted that I couldn’t live past twenty years old. But, I didn’t believe it. After University graduation, I became a member of Ghost Buster, given the title of “Master Strange Eye.” What the hell? I’m tasked to subdue ghosts.

Such a good book. I read 39 chapters so far and Im not planning to read any more since all the books i read in the trial read never get chosen. However do read the book its very interesting and new. Its like a fresh breath of air, I do hope webnovel choses more books like this one unlike all the other books that is like the same thing.
really enjoying this story, although creepy. hope it gets picked up. the cover is really scary though...hope the cover gets changed to something else

I am a little weirded out with this story. Maybe because it is different from other fantasy romance story published here in webnovel. I do hope that this will be picked-out.
Was interesting at first although horror isn't really my favorite, but the mc started seeming rather unnatural. Like her character seems unstable? She makes a lot of unintelligent choices, letting ghosts push her around only relying on other people to come save her one second before dying. Of closer leaving the people that she should be relying on in the dark until that point. Anyway the story is pretty well written, heavy on the mystery aspect. Very good at creating that spooky atmosphere. And I suppose the characters will develop further, just not quite there so far.
This novel is unique and interesting. Although the FL is my main issue, she gets frightened too easily due to her eye that can see ghosts. I wish she try to not be too easily scared because she unexpectedly caused her roommate's death when a ghost came after her by running away from the ghost. To me, she's just so weak and always need her ghost husband to save her.
I finally got around to reading tHis its surprisingly good. I had put this Novel in my library when I first joIned and I’m saddened by the fact it’s not completed. It was well translated and didnt give me a headache with misspellings bad grammar like some novels where some poInts are lost due to the lack of simple proofreading. I would love to read what happens to the maim character once she turns 18...

This book was really good if their is a second one please update if you have turned this into a series book . I would like to read more .I like that it ended on a cliff hanger!!
I’m half-hearted about this story as the FL is really an idiot who thinks highly of herself and repeatedly get herself into life threatening situations. best part is that she doesnt improves to learn proper skills to protect herself and still wants to help others THEN also turn around to scold others (Ghost King) for not helping.....I wonder if she is actually crazy.
so far I really like this story and wanted to continue reading. it's plot is amazing. but I am really sad that this will not continue more as it's just trial reading.but I highly recommend this book to all horror story lovers. I really request to the writer to continue writing and if ever want to continue plz inform us
there was some part of the chapter are predictable...but...this was absolutely beyond expectation...the world background was the most crucial parts that always makes my heart pumping so hard when turns to next chap...keep going!!

Though d story s a bit creepy but i just can't put it down, makes me want to read more, explore more & have to know d ending. I was just disappointed coz after finishing d book, im sort of not contented😁😁😁
