Chapter 77: A female with an agenda

"So, what do you want now?" I stood from the table I was sitting on, and walk a bit closer to Kira.

"I apologize for disturbing you. It's just that you were the only one I thought of when I had the problem."

"It's okay." I smile at her, "you have come to the right place, my dear. I owe you no grudge."

"Can I stay at your house? I have nowhere else to go."

"About that—"

"Sir!"

My secretary ran into the office without knocking, and almost banged the door off its hinges.

"I told you not to—"

"Your House called."

Her words caused me to hasten towards her. "What happened?"

I asked as I checked the time on my wristwatch. "Shit!"

It has long passed the two hours I promised Lee.

"Lee is in the hospital!"

"What?"

I didn't even turn to bade Kira farewell, I ran out of my office, and straight to the elevator.
